we have 3 plants going in to week 1 of flower and 4 survivors (long story) that look like are in week 2 of veg in a 7 x 9 insulated room. I cannot for the life of me get the humidity up in the room. I have put a portable 12000 btu AC unit in and 2 1 gallon cool mist humidifiers, pans of water, completely shut the room off, opened up the doors to get air circulation, we have turned the exhaust fans off, turned the circulating fan off. The temp in the room is now 75 degrees with 28% humidity right before the lights turned off for the day. On 18/6 schedule but switching to 12/12 sunday.

I place a warm mist humidifier outside my tent at air intake and have a cool mist humidifier inside my room. Keeps my R/H at 50-70. Higher side when lights off.
Wish I could help you bud but I seemed have the opposite problem
The a/c may act like a dehumidifier. What’s the humidity like in the rest of the place?
Yeah dude, a/c does the opposite of what your trying to do, it strips moisture out of the air.
The Indicas I grow don’t need much humidity. My outdoors plants do well with an average 10% humidity. So, if the plants are Indicas I wouldn’t worry about it.
If they are Sativas, they may want more humidity. Look at the plant and if it looks good, leave it alone.
