Prepping my 2nd grow & I’m using Mother Earth coco+perlite mix. I can’t seem to find any info on if I can use Bergman’s fertilizer in coco or do I need liquid nutrients. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Is there more than one line of Bergman, I was under the impression that it was synthetic and as used a a liquid feed. To answer your question Growmie yes you can use and it needs to be fed in a liquid form to get the most out of the coco, there’s a few coco and dry amendment growers on here but not many ![]()
There is 2 feeding schedules one for Soil and one for hydro and as far as I understand coco gets the hydro feed, I myself have Not used as such only in soil!
Yes, I concur with @OGIncognito on this.
Here’s the feeding guidelines.
And remember Coco coir is a form of Hydroponic and you should water daily, just don’t let stand in water. You should have seep pots at the bottom of your pots and let excess drain.
Growing in coco, you want to feed according to the hydroponic/soil feeding schedule. Don’t let coco become dry as it can be a pain to get wet again.
I use bergmans and coco. Just coco though. I am on my 1.5 cycle. (I did autoflowers and photos and im down to the photos)
I just followed the soil feeding schedule because to me its more of a soil than a water base. Plus i dont remmeber who but someone on here said to follow the soil regiment. My plants turned out beautifully for a first time grow. Just pay attention to them carefully and make sure youre diagnosing any possible concerns.
100% able to use bergmans with coco though.
These are my two photos. They LOVE the bergmans it seems.
