Can this work I'm Not sure

I’m not sure if it can work that way since the roots might be hanging in the air
And in order to reach the desired height, the pot must be inserted halfway into the lid and secured

Since it is not a DWC system, it is only watered with a drip system
Do I see a problem that the roots will die off?

However, with a normal drip system, the roots also grow through the pots and find themselves in the bottom of the canal. I definitely know this with the drip system with small pots

What do you say?

Since the roots are not getting any light and are being watered more times a day (when lights are on), will this work?
Or it won’t be enough and the roots will die because they’re hanging in the air and don’t get enough nutrients?

The construct is intended to represent a small drip system and be used to test a plant like new fertilizer

Looks complete, with drippers, coco would be good medium, cant over water.

I use blaethone (pellets) that the plan for coco would require another fertilizer

New to me, please educate me on thus new medium term.

Roots left dry and exposed would eventually die, but that doesn’t mean the system wouldn’t work. This also appears more complications than it needs to be. A system like this will work as top feed (drip system) or bottom feed (ebb & flow) provided requirements for each perspective system are met.

Are you running one plant or several plants? You can pretty much put a pot or table over a reservoir and pump into pot or table and then have solution gravity feed through drain back to reservoir. Then just place an air stone or wave maker into the reservoir. There are probably hundreds of systems like this out there made out of Rubbermaid storage containers.

Well, the system is intended for test purposes. I plan to put two tents into operation, one tent exclusively for the mother plant
In the other tent there is a table inside with a drip system that drains and also the small system
