Hey growmies, I’m interested in purchasing a trellis net and use it in my grow tent. How do I go about using one? Is using a trellis net the same as doing SCROG? I’m not sure if I can even fit 2 five gallon pots in my tent but I’ll make it work with the trellis net.

Basically you use the net to support the larger colas as they grow, and also to promote spreading them out. Essentially, you want to weave the branches through the net and spread them out to allow for better airflow, as well as more uniform light distribution. Any net will work as long as the holes are large enough.

The benefit of a scrog to have a canopy that is flat (even height) and spread wide. If the tent is small a scrog may not be the best route. Or grow one plant rather than two.
Watch some videos and growweedeasy DOT com has some good articles / tutorials on scrogging.
