Can someone please tell me what this could be. It's happening and spreading fast whatever it is

Okay so if its about 7 weeks old I should be going by Fox Farms feeding Schedule for what nutrients it needs. So is it not true that some dont have to have any nutrients?

If growing organically then it’s just water only but the nutrients have been added to the living soil before planting and amended with teas in different stages throughout the grow.
In water or soiless medium then they are added during the grow regularly and require tweaking to suit the different stages of growth. :v:

Are you in soil…?
What soil , if in soil …?
How many weeks since light flip…?
How old is plant …?
And what nutrients are you using right now and at what strength…
:v::sunglasses:

He’s in FFOF. i saw the comment too and glad you asked.

You should NOT let the plant stand in a runoff tray and reabsorb the liquid. This is a very bad policy.

Remember; look to new growth for any improvement. It will take a couple of weeks for you to see anything. So no; you won’t see any change in your plant. Other than it won’t get worse and will push new growth.

@peachfuzz @Myfriendis410 I poured 1 gallon mixed with 2 teaspoons of General Hydroponics CalMag+ and 4 teaspoons of FF Tiger Bloom and I did let the run-off just sit. It was only about a cup and I went back in there about 2 hours later to check temp and humidity and was going to wipe and access liquid up with some paper towels but the plant had sucked it up. Will it be okay or am I going to have to flush it again or will it be okay if I just whip up any access liquid. But I started out with just FF Oceangrow in veg, didnt use any nutrients and I only kept it in veg for 45 days then when I transferred to 12on12off I didn’t use anything in the first 2 weeks just put fresh FF Oceangrow soil on top which was about a gallon an a half of fresh soil on top of the existing an continued watering. Then after 2 weeks some leaves started to look bad so I went up to a Plant Nursery and talked to a guy who worked there an he grew an he suggested I use the FF Big Bloom and Bushdoctor Boomerang Comeback and he told me that should help me until harvest. So I got home and everything was going good until about a little more then 2 weeks ago, when I noticed the tips were starting to turn red an I was trying to get help, which alas I have found where the real helpers are at, on here! But on the big bloom bottle it says general feeding 4 tablespoons and on the Bushdoctor Boomerang it says 1-2 teaspoons
and I accidentally got them mixed up an put 4 tablespoons of Bushdoctor and 2 teaspoons of FF big bloom in a gallon of water and poured it in my plant. Do you think that could have caused it? After that I didn’t put any nutrients just bottled water, which it looks like it’s almost ready to harvest within a few weeks but I’m not sure The strain is Night Nurse that I started from a seed. If she is 7 weeks into flowering and I only had her in veg for 7 weeks how long can I keep her in the flowering stage?

Let me try to answer everything. Pardon me if I sound a bit baked haha.

You are doing fine as far as the soil grow and you got good advice. The two products may have caused a bit of tip burn but I’ve seen the same on plants in FFOF without anything: it is pretty ‘hot’. But let me clarify one thing for you: there is a nominal two week transition period after flipping that does not count toward the flowering time (which is an estimate anyway). So you are only at about week 5.

Please put up a picture of your plant this weekend: the whole plant in natural light.

Feeding the plant should be done at every other watering. I typically do cal mag on ‘water only’ days. But doesn’t matter, really. Moderation is the key. But do put up a couple of shots and I’ll be able to give you an estimate.

You are doing fine and all will work out. After a couple of grows it gets more ‘zen’.

Heck yea man that sounds awesome I really appreciate that, and I will do that I’ll get a few pictures in natural light and that sounds great with the feeling schedule thank you for helping me out and my lady man. I have a side question for you this is one of the other plants I have with my night nurse and it looks like a ruderalis I think that’s how you spell it but it smells really skunky I dont know what strain it is I was just wondering if you had ever seen anything like it I haven’t.

I’ll take those pictures this weekend. Thanks again

Yes…
It should be a fat lil ef’er… :+1::wink:

Looks like week 4 to me. So, 4 to 5 weeks to go.

The plant can indicate when you made it unhappy, cause in point, much of the top of the plant looks yellow? Could be the lighting? Anyway, if you plan to feed the plant, you should stay pretty close to recommended feeding schedules. Do not let runoff sit! Water just after lights on so the plant can process the food all day.
But to be totally honest, you should go downtown and mug someone for enough cash for an EC pen. Without knowing your water EC it’s near impossible to know what your plants are getting. Remember that water across the country can vary in concentration by a mile! If your water already has 300 ppm in it and you add 650 ppm you are now at 950 ppm when you may have been targeting 700. To me that’s unacceptable. That’s one reason planting in soil is so easy, just water and add some worm castings? With Hydroponics, which is what you end up doing when FFOF runs out of food you need to know what the plant is getting. Folks that have taken notes and have done it before can mostly ignore a pen.

Got some knowledge round here. Sorry i fall off over the weekend. Have to adult more at home then work :sweat_smile:

Also i think i asked earlier but didnt get an answer. How are ur ph habits? If ur mixing nutes into the best water on the planet, the ph will still drop and need to be adjusted up some for the plant to access it

Hope you all have a good weekend it was a little cold outside this weekend so I put all 3 of them in a room I got the most light and took some pictures. I also took the tray out and cleaned it with a bottle of water and paper towel real good.

Those pictures were taken Sunday and I know its going to take time before I start to see a change. Could it get worse before it gets better?
I took this picture today

I know it takes time like I already said but I just hate seeing the leaves not looking right. Thank you for the help always.

The leaves will never recover. Look to new growth for improvement.

Should I cut the bad leafs off and I was wondering I did have it on a rack that fits inside a baking cookie sheet and it holds the stuff a little off the cookie sheet. But do you think if I put that in my tent and set my plant on it that it would help it from any runoff I don’t catch and help with whipping up run off.

No need to cut off bronzed leaves, the plant will discard them if they are no longer producing food for the plant. Furthermore, leaves act as a dumping ground for toxic build up and can be helpful. So personally I would leave them and only remove those that are creating shade on buds or healthy sun leaves

Okay I ordered this today will it get the job done on my getting my ph in balance or do I need to get a ppm meterl?

Have that meter and it’s nice. Just make sure to clean the bulb after each use. And also put some 4.0 solution in the bulb cap, to the fill line, to store it. I may have to calibrate once a month. And yes, a ppm (tds) meter is an important tool to have. Luckily they are cheap.

Okay thanks for the response, that’s my next stop do you think home depot will carry them?

No I had checked there, Lowe’s, Walmart, garden centers and couldn’t find one. Ordered from amazon.
