Can I use co2 bags
Yes you can, but should you is the question. First people will need to know how many plants, what size grow space, lighting, soil or hydro, and so on. Nothing in cannabis is ever that cut and dry. So as much info as you can give or even a picture would be beneficial to getting your question answered.
I will add that opinions vary on this topic. I use a CO2 bag in my 48x48x80 tent for three plants, but technically there is enough CO2 in the air naturally to go around. I feel that a little extra never hurts, so it really depends on you.
Thank you vexer
My personal belief is that they’re snake oil.
Even if they were effective you’d have to have your grow completely maximized to see a difference.
If you have extra money to spend… sure…
I agree… snake oil…
It really only helps out in veg and 4 weeks into flowering…
The real question would be , how many girls are you growing… and how big is the area… and can you exchange air a little bit… ?
Usually not worth it unless it’s a big operation and even then we do it super cheap… totally different route… sorry that I cant explaine more… but its against the rules…
Good luck fellow cultivator…
Co2 bags are what I use until 2nd week of Flower. Yes, it does make a diff.
Plants need CO2 like we need O…
in all actuality it wont matter at all if you add co2 unless you increase your photons (or lighiting) photons breakdown co2 into sugars during photosynthesis…so if you do it right it could increase your yeild by 30 to 40%. but if you dont increase your lighting or dont have a monster light to begin with it will do nothing as posted above with the ambient co2 in just natural air being suffecient with normal lighting standards.
Where are bags found and how are they used? I don’t find much on the forum re:bags
Bags are best used in small inclosed grows where there is very little to no air exchange. Exhale bags will add a steady co2 at about 500 parts per million for about 3 months in a 2x5 space. There are other ways to get co2. If you are venting fresh air into grow they are not needed. Hope this helps
