Can I grow indoors using just natural sunlight?

A question from a fellow grower:
Just wanted to ask a quick question, about growing indoors without leds? using just natural sunlight

is it a good method?

is there a tried and true method?

If they have a sun room with glass ceilings… otherwise you’ll have to grow them outside or invest in interior lighting designed for growing :v:

I have been growing (successfully) in my sun room/conservatory (SE facing) with double glazed windows and ceiling for over 12 years and every grow has been a TOTAL result.
Auto Northern Lights are a walk in the park to grow and with ten plants I can produce a years supply of pot for myself and medical herb for my poorly (ill) buddy.
This grow (Spring '19 will be Auto Hindu Kush and Auto Afghani in 5 gallon fabric bags.
I have 2 x large fans to gently waft the air and a bunch of large mirrors to redirect the sunlight ( the sun moves ) when the sun moves off the gals.

Can anyone see in from outside ? this is ULTRA important !
I bought a load of artificial sunflowers and plastic Ivy and placed them against the glass as camouflage and it works a treat.
Do an exterior reconnoiter of your sun fuelled grow area and remember …pot grows upwards (usually) although if the height of the pot is going to be problematic, you can always …SCROG. and keep the height down.
You will become a weather report fiend I promise !
If you spill water on the floor, will this be a problem ?
Can you adjust the temperature in the grow area ?

The more I tell you the more I tell myself…
