Looks like a box elder bug aka stink bug not sure you can Google it

Right, when you crash it, then this smell come in nose, then it is that stink bug

Wasn’t for sure just medicated lol don’t know if they pose a threat never had a problem with them outside totally new to indoors

No need to google It’s a Stink Bug and they do stink when you step on then … trust me lol

Do you think the neemen oil would be beneficial to keep these and other pests away?

As far as I know stink bugs don’t do much damage. They’re looking to get into your house in the fall as temps drop. Then they hibernate, and appear once again in the spring as they try to leave your house.
I’ve usually seen a few in the fall, and a few in the spring, but this year they were swarming my house trying to get in.
Don’t waste your time " THEY WILL NOT HURT YOUR PLANTS " So no
need to go on a shopping spree
