Hey all!
I am having a pretty severe, progressive issue over the last few days with my Banana Purple Punch from Fastbuds. Here is my journal for reference..
Here are some updated pictures, but these little brown dots are progressing really repidly and I can’t put my finger on it.
I thought it was CalMag, so I added 600 PPM in 3 liters of water to her of CalMag (Ventana Plant Science Support 4-0-0) two days ago, but I still see progression.
This has been ongoing for the past week and I already trimmed off some of the larger, more diseased leaves. I see no signs of pests, so I think it is definitely internal.
I have other plants in the same medium using the same nutrients in the same tent showing none of these signs as well, pretty crazy!
What do you all think? I could really use some help here.
@Mmanson1981 tagging you over here on my other grow since you’ve been helping me with my other as well. Pretty crazy stuff going on on this one!

Hope this helps!
Definitely answer all the questions that @Myfriendis410 gave you to answer. The more people know about your situation the better they can assist.
I just want to make a quick comment. I like everyone else I only goes by your initial post with the picture and that’s truly not enough information.
However, I’m extremely familiar with this strain by fast buds. I’ve grown it several times with multiple plants. The exact same thing happened to me yellowing and brown spots. Every plant on both grows.
You do enough research you’ll find this is a common issue for both
1.) Fast buds purple lemonade
2.) Fast buds banana purple punch
I thought it was an issue with too little calcium and nitrogen (just like you and many others) come to find out both of these strains are nitrogen sensitive it’s a little confusing because when you give a plant too much nitrogen it turns dark green and it’s referred to as nitrogen toxicity it’s just this particular strain does not like nitrogen, you’re not toxic.
The solution (FOR ME) I simply cut back on the nitrogen and the plant turned vivid green in about 10-13 days
Once again, I saw your post and I felt I needed to share this with you. I’m not saying it’s your issue but I have experienced your same issue with the same strain with lots of investigation/research.
Good luck

At 1600 PPM (run off) on a 36 day old plant you should be giving t little to NO ifood/nutrients. Unlike photos, autoflowers require less nutrients. I don’t even start feeding until it reaches I’ll run off of a thousand PPM.
I’m assuming you’re 136ppm feed was a shot of calmag and water. And that’s okay.
I got a couple questions…
1.) if you don’t mind, could you tell me exactly what you used on your last feed and how much?
2.) what type of water are you using and what is the PPM of that water?
3.) I seen that you mentioned Cal mag how much Cal mag are you using per gallon and how frequently are you giving it to the girls?

Also, looking at your plant along with the leaves it looks nitrogen deficient a calcium deficiency would fall under nitrogen deficient as well. You could probably rectify it by a nice mega shot of Cal mag. A mega shot would be 15ml cal/mag per gallon on the next couple waterings

One thing I noticed, he gave TDS of runoff but not PH, we both know HF soils have had issues.

Absolutely, and thank you for your previous post as well! Very fascinating that you have experienced this with these strains!

My last feed was a pretty low dose of Stash Blend (mixed with distilled water. I used 1/4 tsp for the gallon as I wanted to keep the nutes low due to it being an autoflower. I wanted to add some general feed without too much, with nitrogen being the main additive.
-
I use distilled water for all use, the PPM is always very low before I start adding nutrients, if any.

I only recently gave her a bit shot of CalMag (Ventana Plant Science Support CalMag.
I gave her 5 ml/gallon and watered 3 liters of that gallon two days ago.
Do you think I let her dry out and give her a 10 or 15 ml/gallon dose of that CalMag for the next water?

I’ll be sure to measure the PH of the next one! Going in the PH was around 6.3. I remember flicking through the settings on my pen and not being startled by any of the measurements outside of the TDS, but I’ll be sure to get that reading as well for the next water.

Awesome, just thought I would mention that, your in great hands with @Lostgirl , she will get you straight. I had same stuff show up on my Purple Lemonade and Fruity Pebbles both early on, finally grew out of it and had a good harvest on the Pebbles, Lemonade about to get chopped out of garden and DryDoc loaded up.

Okay I see a couple things.
First off you’re using distilled water and the PPM of your feed mixture is 136 PPM this is not sufficient for the pH of distilled water to give an accurate pH. You need at least 175 PPM - 200 PPM before you can even adjust your pH
Number two, you’re not using any calcium magnesium. You shouldn’t be giving your plants any nutrients until you’ve depleted down to 1,000 PPM on your runoff.
It’s in my opinion your issue is as stated above. your calcium/nitrogen deficient.
Here’s what I want you to do. This up to you but I’ve grown one or two plants in my day.
Step #1
On your next feed I want you to take 1 gallon of distilled water add 15 mL of calcium magnesium AKA calmag. Shake well.
Step #2
Measure the PPM of your calmag water mixture. If the PPM of your mixture is **180ppm or above ** proceed to adjust your pH to 6.5 and water your plant.
Note
If the PPM of your Cal mag water is less then 180 PPM add more calmag slowly until you’re calmag water reaches 200 PPM. Then safely proceed to adjusting your pH to 6.5 and water your plant
Repeat this process for the next two feeds
Important
Document your feeds pH and ppm and run off pH and all the time

Always let your plant totally dry out before watering. Your plant needs a dry day to uptake oxygen.
You’ll be fine just do what I suggested on your next two waterings.
What type of nutrients do you intend to use when you’ve depleted all of the pre-charged nutrients in your Happy frog soil?

Sounds like a plan! I will do that.
I’ll use 15 ml/gallon of VPS Support (This is what I use for CalMag), unless you think I should go with something different given this specific issue?
I’ll do that for the next two watering and continue to keep you posted here on this thread.
I trust your wisdom 100%!

I use Ventana Plant Science’s Retail Nutrient Line as my main nutrient system. It has served me very well with several photo grows, but I always have an issue with Autos an finding the balance with dosages at different stages.
I used a few doses of 1/8 strength of the vegetation recommendations based on the Nutrient Chart:

I’m so glad that I clicked on your brand name of calmag. Typically, the average calmag NPK is 1-0-0 sometimes you’ll find it NPK 2-0-0
Your Cal mag is 4-0-0 so let’s change the numbers a little bit
7ml Calmag per gal. But be sure after you add the 7 mil that you shake well and measure the PPM. You need it to be over 180 and it doesn’t matter how much over it just has to be over (before you can properly pH the water)
You got it?

Got it!
7 ml/gallon with a ph of 6.5 for my next two waters. Monitor and report.
I am on it and thank you!
Should I trim away and continuous deterioration?
Nah your plants too young for that. Technically what it’s doing is it sucking the nitrogen out of your leaves. hence the yellow and brown marks. You’re going to replenish the nitrogen with calcium magnesium Calmag. What we want to do is let the plant to use up all the nutrients that it needs from the leaves. Eventually it’ll suck everything out and they’ll dry up. That’s when it’s okay to pluck them

I was just looking over your questionnaire answers and your original post pictures. Something doesn’t seem right to me.
1.) you say your plant is 36 days old. Is this 36 Days in flower or 36 Days since your seed popped the dirt?
2.) Also if you don’t mind can you take a couple of pictures of the entire plant preferably a couple that have side view so I can see the whole plant.
3.) are we talking one single autoflower or is there multiple doing the same thing?
