Burnt marijuana leaves gold leaf grow!

I found it to be more sensitive to feedings than say White Widow. As for quality I have absolutely no complaints. I have had many top shelf strains in Colorado and would put this against any of them. The taste reminds me of Agent Orange mixed with a Skywalker OG, and the effect is similar to Bear Dance. My wife finds it a good relaxing at home strain however I find it amazing for getting out and about, but generally Indica’s have that effect on me

I keep seeing similar reports here about the Gold Leaf being hardy like an armored Tank, and others where it seems very finicky. I suspect this might be a phenotype variance.

In my experience with the Goldleaf it grows extremely well and is tolerant of lower temps and humidity, more so than the Bubbas Gift I am growing now alongside another Goldleaf. But as I said I did notice it get temperamental in mid to late flower of the EC I was feeding. Max I felt safe feeding judging by the plants response was 1.4ec at its peak.
Keep in mind also, which I should have stated, is that I grow in coco, drain to waste, twice daily after flowering stretch.
I have a couple going in Canna Tera soil right now which I just switched to flower a few days ago. I will post back with how it handles higher feedings

Now my amnesia haze has yellowing leaves and many are lime green. Big bud and choco are totally normal looking. I just don’t want to hurt my yield. The buds look great so far. I’m just going to let them go and see what happens.

Just checking in to see how your plants are doing

Hey, I haven’t posted cause I couldn’t upload pics, but bought a new camera so it’s all good. The gold leaf stabilized sort of (top pic) amnesia haze (bottom) on the other hand went totally yellow real quick. Even the stalk turned. None of the tweaking seemed to do much. The good news though is the quality seems fine (I don’t actually consume the stuff myself so I have to depend on others opinions) and the yield should be good. Who says you can’t grow good weed under cfls! I’ll post on yield when I have figures to share. Joe.

These pics are chocolope and big bud treated exactly the same as my gl and amhaze. They remain totally green except for some yellowing one one of the three big buds. At this point any yellowing is normal maturation considering they are just about ready to harvest. Oh well, girls will be girls I guess.

My gold leaf hasn’t turned been flushing for two weeks it’s 9 week should I harvest?

How long should I leave in bloom 9 weeks today?

Have you checked your trichomes? If they are clear, more time. Cloudy - Amber, just right for harvest. How far past cloudy you go will depend upon the high that you are looking for. I am in the cloudy camp, my self.

Beautiful plant, by the way @willie2397

The trichomes have soom red and some cloudy and some clear I am puzzled I grew it before the same never got that smell every ones talking about but my yeld is about 300 grams wet per plant

I just harvested a Gold Leaf the was like that (all different color trichomes). I had nitrogen toxicity in this plant several weeks into flower. I think that may have caused the premature trichome ripening in my case. My other two Gold Leaf plants developed normally.

This could be due to some variant in the genetics as well, I don’t know for certain.

It sounds like it is time to harvest based upon your description of the trichomes.

Thx I have a banner in bloom as well. Got 20 fruity pebbles to crack. one more question what is happening to that srong smell it made my house stink and I never get that smell back is that in the flush?

I can’t answer you on this one, I run an exhaust fan and a carbon filter. Haven’t had any odor since I installed the filter.

lol I am talking about the cure this is the 2 plant I never get that smell or tast they refer to the high is good no smell my friend thinks it’s regular weed
