@Bulldognuts I was reading your post on imSICKkid journal about you switching to Coco and using an automatic watering system like his when you do the switch would really appreciate a tag want to come along for the ride and probably join you at the same time already in Coco but hand water twice a day everyday

I will definitely journal the switch. I’ve been looking at the options of running Coco and the simplest way to do it. When the time comes I’ll tag everyone that is following this journal and the last. It may be fun or funny to watch me learn.

Yeah, I’m going to look at imsickkid’s setup and see what it will take put together and the overall cost. I will also compare that to autopot system. I believe both have their pros and cons. Autopots will work without electric and pumps and timers. But you have to top water and feed for the first few weeks. Whereas the auto watering system that kid has put together will handle things start to finish.

Can you use an auto watering system with soil? or adapt one perhaps.

It definitely looks effective and efficient. Really curious though. For sure tag me in. It might be an eventual upgrade for me as well. I like the water halos.

It may be a issue to run one with soil due to the changing needs of how often you would need to water. It could be done but you would have to be sure it doesn’t water to often. With Coco you would water daily.

I was afraid of that. Never hurts to ask. I’m trying to find a more efficient way to water rather than caring heavy jugs of water upstairs I have a couple of ideas rattling around in my head.
Right now I have my hubby is making a rolling support structure / platform That I concocted in my minds eye, we just found all the stuff we needed to build them. Pictures to follow in a day or two.

Time for my Sunday update. Skywalker photos are growing at a rapid clip. Still just cal-mag and Tribus for these girls. PPM’S still coming out at over 2000 on both. I’m guessing as a direct result of repotting into 7 gallon pots with fresh soil in the bottom. I decided to do a little supercropping on them, didn’t get to crazy just a gentle bend to each stem to open them up a little. The NL autos ppm’s dropped into the 950 range so I went ahead and fed with Jack’s. They seem to have tolerated it well, no nute burn. They started showing buttons approximately 21 days ago and the bud sites are stacking up great.

Yeah… I think I’m tapping out on the autos for now… There way too finicky for me… I’m like a bull in a China shop …(I typed a two paragraph rant… Then I deleted it)… And I’ll leave it at that …
