Let’s get the bad news out of the way first. The LA Confidentials died in the dirt, not sure what happened. After putting in soil they never took hold. The good news is, the rest of the girls are doing fine. Something else, I have said I tend to not change methods if something works. I have always used the 450w Viparspectra’s for seedlings and was pleased with the node spacing. This round I wanted to change and use the PLC Lights from the start. I noticed that the Critical Mass was stretching a little to much. So I fell back into my old ways and switched to the Viparspectra’s. So far I’m feeling like it was a good idea.
those Northern Dawgs have my full attention …looking good Bdog…
I think it just kinda happens sometimes. RIP LA Confidentials, but oh well. Better off not trying to make weak genetics work hard to overcome themselves I guess.
Had a White OG do the same thing - its sister seed is still going, although not as strong as any of the others I’ve got growing from the same pop date
Sorry to hear about the loss
Sorry to hear about the LA Confidential babies. Your germination methods are pretty sound, guess you got a couple of bad ones. I’m sure you’ll keep an eye on the rest of those seeds when you get another chance to pop them. The rest of the nursery is looking good!
Keep on Rockin’ !
I had a few die I the soil too. We germ the same and I’ve seen a few others that do it the same way we do and they’ve had a few die in the soil as well. It could be the genetics or the way we germ tbh
We’ll see how it goes, hoping for the best. If they hermie I’ll toss them right out. There’s lots of farm land nearby, next spring I’ll just spread the remaining hermied seeds around the area.
I’ve mostly had pretty good luck with germination and everything breaking through soil. Win some, lose some, right
Thanks Luckily I still have plenty going.
