16x28 or so room. Previously I did it all in closet where I’m vegging now. And previously was soil. Now coco. I’m on a high frequency fertigation schedule. So not only do I have to move plants to feed. Multiple times daily. But I want to change things to a perpetual grow. My wife and I need for medical reasons. So I want to keep a vegging momma plant at all times but flowers at all times. I need some ideas for 2 walls. My first thought is to frame a wall and cover with the stuff in pic I’m posting. Also a pic of my little garden. Momma plant on right. She is only thing in soil
That stuff would probably work fine, just make sure to seal seams. Panda film also very popular to use that way.
Thinking so. Carpeted room on wood sun floor. Anchor to floor only with 31/2 in screws. Is light leaks truly that big of a deal with solid genetics?
Yup, don’t want any light leaks. The carpeting could cause some problems too, but can be dealt with if need be.
I’m confused about what you’re trying to do, but there are a couple things to consider:
IMO, flat white paint is ideal as a wall coating.
Tents are almost always the best value for home scale.
ZipWall is an interesting tool for temporary partitions and light-blocking. Combined with panda film, it could be useful.
There is a flat white paint with aluminum oxide or tin oxide (cant remember which) that was
specifically created to reflect the suns rays (prevent the repeated heat soaking from the sun)
and I think it would make for a pretty good wall paint for your new area. It’s water based, ( I think
they offer it in latex and non latex base).
Check with local hardware and big box builder stores, or online. If you have to move your plants
out you’ll still have a ready living area, just move the lazy boy and beer keg in and you’re good
to go.
I believe it was made for homes in heavy sun exposure areas like Arizona, Nevada, Texas, etc you get the picture. Hope you end up with your ideal growing space.
Post pics when you’re done? (before you move the plants in of course).
