BUGS! What should i use to kill these demon's

Anyone tell me what these evil looking critters are please and how to get rid of them? Shes nearly ready and they are turning leaves yellow, no good when your 6 weeks away from harvest

I’ve fortunately never had to deal with bugs of any kind but I keep Captain Jack’s Dead Bug on hand if the situation should arise. I do believe you’re dealing with aphids. They’re on the kill list for CJDB.

I just looked it up on an Australian website. If you can’t get it for some reason I’m sure someone will have some good alternatives for you.

I battle aphids usually every grow now since going to coco. I’ve been told it has a lot to due with it being constantly wet. I’ve had to take more of a preventative maintenance approach and spray weekly before I see any. captain jacks was not helpful for me in killing them. I got this stuff at Walmart, it’s worked wonders so far.

Definitely looks like aphids to me try Pure Crop 1 its a all organic plant derived IPM that does realy well against sap sucking pest like aphids it can also be used in flower as well

Most pesticides sold are a derivative of nicotine. It causes the pests to starve to death because nicotine is an appetite suppressant and overides their systems.

Steep a cup of loose tobacco in a gallon of water, let it sit overnight, strain, and spray away.

If you’re from Australia try eco neem oil it works on a variety of bugs and atracks good bugs.

Seems they are Aphids, ive hit them with a water/vinager solution which seems to be the best natural remedy, we will see😉

Update, tried the eco methods and the vinager solution has started to kill 2 buds, NO GOOD!!
So i have rinsed the whole plant off and will cross my fingers and toes thaf i havent killed her, maybe some nutrients, any advice would be appreciated as its looks like shes dying, i think the vinager has done more harm than good

You can’t spray neem oil on the bud’s it will discolour or stain them I had a scale problem this year I used a paint brush and brush it on them seemed to work an you can only use it once every so often I’m not to sure about vinegar but if you do spray whole plant leave for couple of hours then wash off.

Looks as though I may need to pull her early and start again next season, 2 smaller buds have gone brown and dying and little bits are appearing higher up, I don’t want to lose the whole plant so I will give it another day or 2 and see how she fairs.
DONT TRY VINAGER, IT DOESNT WORK🫠

Soak a cigarette in water for a few hours and spray it on them. It can also be used as a systemic pesticide meaning the plant will absorb it via roots or stomata and spread it evenly through your plant killing all sucking type insects. It only lasts in the plant for a few weeks so there should be no trace left in the plant by harvest, and its organic

So just a once off spray and some tobacco?

There are recipes out there that explain how to make the tea. Being a container plant i actually wouldnt recommend using it systemically because im not sure if it would kill off your microbes in the soil but would definetly work as a spray. Since your in flower i wouldnt use it as a spray so sorry on that.

@LiesGrows mentioned Pure Crop 1. Might want to look into that and check it out.
