Looks like you have other issues. Plant does not look mature yet. Still throwing pistils.
any idea what you think it could be?
Itās the 6th week of flower, I flushed yesterday and drilled the stem. Overnight a few buds started turning brown. This isnāt my first grow, but it is the first time Iām growing OG Kush. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
How about giving a snapshot of your grow? Fill this out and be as complete as possible? Pay particular attention to how you PH and what your TDS in and out is.

itās hitting the tops of all the buds, the sugar leaves turn brown and dry, they crumple when touched.
Please Help!! lol
Might be from it kissing that light. Heat damage possibly.
Iām thinking the same. You are far enough along in flower that the plantās light requirements are going down too. Burning and light sensitivity can be a symptom of a phosphorus def. Are you supplementing? If not you should be by now in HF.
If you donāt have a TDS meter order one today so we can get a runoff.
What kind of water used?
Assuming 12/12 schedule and when you say 6th week of flower is that from flip or since pistils showed?
I thought of that also but wasnāt sure since they were fine all along, although I have rearranged them after flushing so that may be it. Iāll see what I can do about raising the light. Iām using regular tap water, supplementing with tiger bloom, bat guano, and cal mag. 12/12 schedule, right now itās 7 weeks pistils started showing. The light would make sense since there are 2 plants, only the taller one is showing this.
itās gotta be the light, Iām only thinking that because it happened so fast! .I lowered the intensity of the light, Iām thinking it should stop now. unless you can think of anything else it would be. It should stop, Iāll know tomorrow. If not Iāll be back, lol. thank you to all that responded
happy smokin!!
You should be supplementing with Big Bloom too as it alone in the FF Trio contains the micronutrients (boron, copper, sulfur,ā¦) that your plant needs as well.
lol, thatās the one I couldnt remember the name of, I have all three of that trio.
thank you for responding
It looks like a combo of light burn and heat stress. Basically too close to light. It happens, get thos buds away ffom light.
Your at least 3 weeks from harvest looking at those buds BTW.
As stated possible P deficiency.
Same thing happened to me. Before I flushed it was slight burn but after I flushed it looked like yours. Thought it was nute burn. But could wrong it was my first grow.
We figured out what happened with mine, I was scrogging these 2 plants. After I flushed them I left the net off and tied them all into a bunch because the buds were so heavy they were falling over. When I tied them into a ābunchā they were even taller and thatās when they too close to the light and cooked. thank god we got it figured out, theyāre doing well again. Thanks again to all that responded with ideas.
For those of us that arenāt familar with tds could you tell us what that means?
TDS stands for āTotal Dissolved Solidsā. It measures in PPM (500) and other scales.
Iām only familiar with that in water, are talking about in water or in the soil? Sorry for my ignorance Iām still learn how to grow good weed.
