Budding early? Help please

Hello,

Curious to get some feedback for a newbie here,

I have an autoflower strain, growing outdoors, after 5-6 weeks it has started flowering,

Close by I have another feminized plant ( not auto )

This has also now started flowering but seems ways too early,

Would the auto flower plant close by have anything to do with this?

Thanks

Welcome and happy growing.
The auto has no effect on the photo.
The days are getting short and it decided it was time.

Keep us up to date.

Should have clarified
I’m in Australia , so technically shouldn’t it be growing a lot more before going to flower ?

I thought about that cause i suddenly remembered i don’t believe in flat earth.
It seems so strange to my mind that you’re starting summer. But our feet are pointing at other when we stand! :last_quarter_moon_with_face::ghost:

It is normal for an auto to flower at between 4 and 7 weeks of age.

As for the photo flowering - photos are capable of flowering with a photoperiod of <14 hours. Indoor growers use 12 hours to guarantee flowering as some plants can be more stubborn than others.

@Sunshine85 welcome are they from seed or clones I’m from Australia to the weather been all over the place with nice warm weather then rainy. It be hot for a week or couple of days then cloudy cold and rainy for a few days. What’s the weather been like where you are from I’m from W.A we had 2 days of hot weather like 29/32 degrees last week now it’s like 16/20 and pouring down with rain the last couple of days that could have a lot to do with it confusing them.

Hey mate

I’m in qld,
Weather has been nice sunny and consistently good temp,
They are grown from seed ,

They’ve been outdoor for the last 4 weeks and growing solidly but only just saw it flowering ,

Maybe it’s just the strain?

Hey man you got any photos you can put up to have a look.

You put it outside too soon and the lack of sunlight hours has caused it to begin to flower. As the days lengthen it will revert back to veg. The leaves will get weird and look silly, but the plant has the entire summer to recover.
