Bud rot advice?

Hey there everyone! So I, like many others at this point am now fighting bud rot after a week of heavy rain.

I have managed to stop on 2 plants by removing the entire infected branch

The third one I caught very early but it was on the top cola of my smallest plant.

I cut it off but am not sure how much damage can be caused with exposed bud and stem that have been cut in half.

Should i remove the entire cola/ should I harvest early or should I leave what bud I can and peroxide it?

man that’s tough to loose it all at this stage of the grow…I don’t have any real experience in this area … but from what I have seen you are doing what you can right now and eventually if you make it to harvest you will need to do a bud wash…

Thank you, luckily for me this is my smallest and lowest yielding plant. Its still hard to waste a single bit though.

since i grow inside and retired I get to see things more quickly. in my grows… the few times I have seen the start of some rot, cutting that out and changing some other variables stopped any further issues… knock on wood… :cowboy_hat_face:

Yeah luckily only a few hours had passed since it started. I check them about every three hours during the day since the rain started

I cut an inch or two below the bud rot then spray with peroxcide and water mix. 1 part peroxide 3 parts water. Then I spray with purecrop1 or Dr Zymes eliminator.

Yeah im shaking the plants as much as I can. I have five more days of rain ahead of me. Im wondering if i can take a large tarp and put it over them while leaving the sides open for airflow. My concerns with that being holding humidity in and not knowing how much sunlight plants can still get on overcast days. Because i assume a tarp will block 100 % of light and im guessing thats dangerous even on days you cants see the sun.
