I am a soil grower but interested in the buckets.grow in a 10x5x6.5 tent 2 1000 watt dimmable ballast have good results in soil.i like the soil so I can attend to the outside the tent started from seed 8 weeks veg.got 9 strains right now,s strawberry diesel,pink Cadillac,Night terror og.og kush,bubble gum hash,bluue berry,lemon diesel,blue dream,lemon skunk, skunk #1, roulette and purple og #18.i got 12 plants first week flower 1 or 2 of each strain.m y question is why change something that good.can any one let me know bout bubblers

I personally grow in DWC, which is one form of hydroponically growing plants. I absolutely love it and would never go back to soil. My plants grow faster, and much healthier without as much frustration.
But that’s just me! I hated soil and had tons of issues, so I made the transition to hydro. It’s so much easier in my opinion, and I’ve never grown bigger plants before hydro!

General hydroponics water farms , but Hydro is very unforgiving if you over do things , let light into your water buckets can cause algae and bacteria which is notorious to your roots , and defiencies spread much more rapidly in Hydro than soil bug to each is own , soil is a buffer to those who learning .

I’m not that into rushing u either veg for 4 weeks then flower most strains have phenoms which is different characteristics of a plant u pick wright strains they’ll grow quick and tall no matter what in 8 weeks certain ones almost 4 feet how big u need them
Ive run soil and coco. And was happy with both. Last run that i dont include as a grow run was a bag seed from great pot. In ran it dwc and i couldnt believe how fast it grew. But it turned out to have nuts. But it was a healthy piece of poop. Any hows i believe the dwc can grow faster and larger and yield a heap more if you have it set up right. Plenty of fresh air in and i believe the more bubbles the better. Its a go from me

Hammer I need help than buddy , I have the general hydroponics single waterfarm DWC drip feed bucket and I gave it a try and failed miserably , never tried again after I drowned my seedling , I think my water level was way to high cause it did not go well at all .
Whoaa yeaa, way too high!
For that system, you don’t even need the water level to be near the actual hydroton.
The top drip feed will keep your roots wet until they grow enough to reach down and into the reservoir. It’s actually a really simple system. I have a top feed system too, but I don’t ever use it anymore.
When you set her up again let me know, and me and @hammer will get you exactly where you need to be!

@yoshi me and you are in the same boat I will be going hydro soon after five to six years of soil with great results but at the same time will be one to hit it hard and heavy with the hydro I keep an eye out for you you keep an eye out for me and @ktreez420 and @Hammer will keep an eye out for both of us LOL…

I will give Hydro another try and if I can get the science dialed in and know how to treat theroots are other issues that occur being hydro is very sensitive an can very unforgiving , I think I can manage it and probably get from seed to harvest . I think my arsenal of nutrient lines I have I can get some real super size flavor tasting buds , and with as much LED power I have in a small tent , this can get very interesting with the way hydro explode in growth , this will put my training techniques to the ultimate test I’m sure ,so I’m nervous cause of previous failure but I’m anxious to learn at the same dam time which is my personality honestly , it’s like riding a massive zip line or roller coaster for the first time with out being tested kind of which is weird but very entertaining right , but if I can figure out what to do , and what to used I’ll definitely give it a go again .

You and me will take the dive together I will post what I am using so you can see and then take it from there I’ve been at this for years with soil with great results I’m at three-quarters of a gram per watt in soil but would love to exceed that and on a side note my friend who grows Hydro does really well with massive yields and I have given him strains to grow the weird thing is my soil grows are exceptionally better than he’s hydro grows as far as stoney … taste is about the same but he’s getting an nounce more than me per watt but my weed is way more stoney I’m not really sure why but I’m going to figure it out with you my man… Lol

Science says soil are soilless medium like coco grown buds are way much more better , potent , and tastier than hydro , but hydro gives that street credit of what we all learned as to what loud was are should be and its a code you cannot move some street level sales on make sense . I had 3 types at once , Amnesia Haze , Blueberry , and Cheese and they preferred the Amnesia Haze over the Cheese and Blueberry cause of coloration which in fact the blueberry and cheese was way more potent and better than the haze , so maybe if I can get a few hydro grows done successfully than I can consider myself a seasoned grower right , but nothing beats growing outside hands down , Direct sun is the best but man you have to fight like hell to finish an outside grow due to bugs , critters , and animals that love getting naturally stoned , damn deeds and rabbits my God they relentless on a mans gorilla grow crop , but I’m gamed peachfuzz to give hydro a challenge again .

I love you @yoshi but at the same time I grow indoors never really been Outdoors other than a couple of times and we were almost a thousand plants each time so really crazy… but that was awhile ago … but indoors brings a whole new realm of things to deal with and I agree but my smoke is way more potent in soil then my friends that’s in Hydro but don’t worry we will make up for that hehehe… if you don’t mind growing in Coco I can turn you on to a system that I designed that works really well I grow tomatoes and everything else outside in these systems that are ridiculous…

emphasized text these are what I’m running in my veg will take pictures soon of what I’m going to use for flower but these have all have a built-in chiller… I haven’t started running them yet but definitely will let you in on everything I’m going to do buddy… understand that I have a ridiculous set-up with HPS and anything else that I want so makes really ridiculous even in soil…
On a side note sorry for hijacking your thread my man still new at this…

Holy crap look at the engineering of that set-up …Wow ! But your not hijacking the thread I don’t believe cause we are discussing about bubble buckets right , but I don’t think that would even fit in my lil growing chamber , my goodness you way more advanced than I am but you have knowledgeable people close to you , as for me I’m out in the sticks off the beaten path way back in the siloms of isolation , getting prepared for the New World Government , it’s like 22 miles to the nearest road to get on to get to town , but I can always trailer plenty of supplies from a trip if need be right .

Believe it or not that stuff is super simple to get and all within fingers reach I just don’t mind tinkering I build things for a living so it makes it easy for me to understand what I’m doing not saying anything about you my man just want to help you understand what you want to do with much love… Side note I want to give u and @garrigan62 a pick of what I have going on that I run soil / hydro that is sick if u can get it dailed in… Let me know I send pics… Very simple build…, lol
I’ve seen your grow and you get ridiculous results out of soil if you had this little niche in your belt you might go crazy without ever even going Hydro LOL…
