Here is a picture of the Bruce Banner auto yesterday…She has recovered from being stunted…but is still only about 18" tall now. It has been about 43 days since she sprouted. 4 days since the first “hedgehogs” formed

She is looking good. Mine is due to turn any day now. The wait is killing me. Was 26 inc tall last pictures tied them down to around 20inc yesterday. Just want them to start giving me that beautiful aroma we all know and love.

From my limited experience with Bruce banner autos that’s about regular size. Mind you I’ve only grown 2 successfully. 3 different seed banks out of 12 different seeds only 4-5 sprouted. Every single one of them were smallish, 1 mutant and died, 2 males, and the 2 made it. I’m on my last bean and I’m hoping it’s a female. Here she is 2 days ago day 15

@Bluntsmoke Good to hear that her growth spurt has caught her up. She was 15 days after sprouting to reach 3" and 20 days later made it to 18"
Never had this happen before. I popped the seed in a wet paper towel. Nice long tail on it. My guess is I did not orient it right in the hole or was too shallow. Instead of the tap root going down…it came up right next to the green shoot. It wrapped itself around the shoot stem and dove back in the ground. Over time, it became one weird looking conglomerate “trunk”. Tried to get a pic of what it looks like now, but I top dressed over most of it so it is a bit hard to see.
