Brown on some leaves?

Hi y’all. First grow was going well until this week. I’m in the second week of flowering with a Northern Lights Auto. came back from 2 days away and i have these brown spots.

using coco, 3 gallon fabric pots, Canna Coco A+B and cal-mag. hopefully that’s enough info.

Also do i need to defoliate the giant fan leaves now? I was just reading that you want to leave them because they facilitate creating sugars. but it also blocks light to the bottom. Not sure what to do.

thanks a bunch in advance.

Did someone else water them while you was away? With coco I’m positive you gotta water once or more a day.

Calcium Deficiency might be the issue, but you need to water at least every two days with 10/20% runoff.

Okay so add Epsom and water more frequently?

Hey sorry so I have them on the AC Infinty self watering bases. Filled them up before I left and when I got home. Do you think it’s really just lack of water?

Sweet! I appreciate the advice. I’ll get working on fixing it.

To me that looks like more than some deficiency and the speed in which it happened leads me to believe either something was spilled on that branch or there is a problem in the root zone for that area of the plant as it seems to only be affecting that one branch correct.
Just initial spit balling here but if it’s one branch and isn’t being seen elsewhere.

I had the same symptom. Mine was user error. I had one side of my plant too close to a side light. See if I can find a pic.

very close to same issue as far as where on the leaf and the look.

So mine have appeared near the walls of the tent. Maybe its light stress? think i should move my light futher up? its on a few branches now. very strange.

yeah that looks the same! did you get yours to go away?

damaged leaves wont repair. Once I saw it and moved my light, it never happened again and all new growth in that area was green. Light stress is my go to thought here.

ahhh okay i will move my light up. Do you happen to know the par levels you had / use? i have a meter just not sure what to do with it. Learning oh so much with this first grow.

I use the DLI chart for photos. But it doesn’t matter in relation to my issue as I had a light only a few inches from the one side. I rotated for pruning and got it too close on just the one side. Here is the chart I use for proper lighting depending on age.

I need to make a modified chart as my veg period is always 10-12 weeks and my flowering time is 8-10 weeks. Each grow I have done has been right around the 22 week mark for harvesting.
