Can’t wait to see them my brother keep on keeping on and sleep well ![]()
That’s some good info and I been thinking abt supercropping it’s pretty close to the same thing right?
Good Morning @Dman1969, In regards to your question it is kinda the same, but my way of bending/contorting branches is the lazy way. I just don’t have the patience to string up all the branches, and the time it consumes. Some plants you are to leave alone, but Bianca I sqish the stalk, bend into position to let heal. The Bianca in the first set of pictures is a little over 3Ft. vertical in height, but a little over 4Ft. In width. She buds these pine cone shaped knots, or popcorn shaped knots that will blow your hair back after a good bong hit. I have found letting the branches grow vertically, and before flipping to the budding stage to do it. The shoots will rise up, and each one produces a nice bud. It takes several bends, breaks, and contorting to get it correct; however, it definitely increases the yield substantially. If you are not a meticulous type grower, then this is perfect. The other way is much more precise, but old habits die hard. When you are raised growing along highway ditches where they can’t cut to maintain the highway, and you want to get done it is effective. In addition, it was about quantity because back then 5% THC was the norm in bales from S.America. Our stuff was gone before harvest because it was better than the brown 50Lb. Blocks of brown dirt weed. Those days are long past, but old habits die hard in regards to technique. Hope your day goes smoothly, and look forward to continuing to communicate. If you are serious about learning, then I will help you learn. It takes several breaks to strengthen the horizontal branches, so they don’t break from the weight of the buds to come. Take it easy till next time Brother,
I forgot to mention @Dman1969 that if you look in first set of pictures taken on the step plate of my truck is the Bianca, and I wish you could see the results before flipping, so you can see how the shoots grow vertically, and eack one produces a nice popcorn type bud. Not every strain is good for this technique growing outdoors, but maybe I can send you a new picture of her almost ready to bud. One last thing to remember is to rotate your pots every other day initially, so the shoots grow vertically in a V pattern. In addition, it fills in the plant evenly. The buds are more symmetrical, and less voids in buds with no growth. We can go more in depth in the future depending on what type personality you are a type “A” or type “B”. Gotta Run…
if you stress your plant will pick up on it up…![]()

At work I’ll hollar later my freind
Super cropping is like breaking a branch but it is more of a bend like a kink in a water hose. You want to bend the branch over but not break the integrity of the limb. It should look like a bent straw. If not carful, branches can break while super cropping, so it is important to bend with caution.
Hello @Dman1969, the previous response from Vexer about
super cropping is pretty much a bullseye. It’s a quick, and much less time consuming; however, it’s not as perfect as LST. I am an old dog stuck in my old ways. I found out it was a mistake, so I can give you a early example of the outdoor version of super cropping with my Bianca. They didn’t publish last week, but I will take a pic. I only do it on certain strains like Bianca because the bud formation is nice fists, or popcorn shaped buds, and no good colas. In addition, the yield went up substantially.
Pretty much safe over here. My job is done ![]()
I asked prior to the message about the broken branch on the Chronic, but previously I asked if anyone knows if the pink tone in the bud will stay. If anyone has any feedback, then please respond. I get curious on something, and it drives me to research for hours on non important subjects on my free time. I will take a pic of pinkish turning buds, and the Bianca to show my lazy way of LST. Thanks again, to everyone
Sometimes. Normally its genetic n there to stay. But ![]()

What strain?
Hello @Dman1969 this is truly the lazy, and less productive version of LST. I will take 2 pics of the Bianca, and I do it on the Bianca for reasons previously written on the Bianca strain, and formation of the type buds. I just can’t tie, and do monotonous things because I get sidetracked. I just squeeze, bend to best possible. After healing then I do a reverse bend, so the branches strengthen, and the branches don’t break from weight of buds before harvest. I cracked left side, so it’s not come up from the sun. We have been rained on, or cloudy 3-4 days.
All the shoots will bud nicely, and soon you will see unless pestilence gets my girls.
The other pics didn’t show at all what I was trying to explain. Hopefully you will see where each side goes horizontally, and the shoots go vertically. It needs a little more tweaking, but the left side is doing not as well as I would like, yet the Bianca is going to be set loose next week after a little more contorting.
@S.FloridaSwampman Awesome girls you have brother!!!
I think I’m gonna stay with lst this is the one I’m growing now 30 days into 12/12
It the Chronic @PurpNGold74 that’s budding with the pink tone. Look down the picture of the bud, and you will see the rim of the red bucket.
Your Black Widows @Dman1969 are beautiful, and you are going to have some beautiful long, fat, and powerful buds soon. Great job!!! You are growing amazingly, for your short period of time growing. Some people get it, and some never do. You fit the first group, and you should be proud of yourself Many people try, yet few are successful. Now, I really am antsy because I can’t wait till my test Black Widow is getting ready to bud very shortly. Thanks for sharing your pics!!!
@S.FloridaSwampman thanks brother. I hope ures turn out just as beautiful. I’m still waiting on the smell. I guess it will come in time. Take it easy friend ![]()
