The worst part is I put a bad review up to discourage others from making the same mistake I did. Then the seller started throwing money at me to lie and recommend their product. I took the money but I couldn’t deal with the guilt and never changed my review. But I am ashamed I was tempted.

So I’ve been real active on here for like 4 months. Many more to come
I see new growers On here post their grow and I feel 75% of them have blurples. They’re really proud of them. Like I was. I feel bad. Should I be the one who tells them? Should I let them continue on? Am I the bad guy if I tell them? Am I the bad guy if I don’t tell them?
I think I’ll just post a link to this thread and let them read.

Hello, my names is Jstar, and I’m a blurple buyer.
I purchased 3 blurples all before finding ILGM. I also researched on amazon for hours, reading these reviews that, TBH are nothing but lies. My real review of the light was not published of course.
I have kicked the habit and ordered 2x HLG 260 lights, and hey should hopefully be here next week!

Might be worth having a moderator post it as a sticky so it’s stays up top. This after all is a crucial PSA for new growers and alleviates the guilt of being the bearer of bad news

So much hate for Blurples 
I dunno, I reckon mine did okay for a first grow. Using them again this time around.
My Blurples have Red, Blue, Orange, White, UV and IR LEDs so not sure if that makes a difference.
I was pretty happy for my first grow though.

These aren’t the best lights out there, far from it, but they do a good enough job for me.
My whole setup only draws 140w from the wall (60w per light, 15w exhaust and 5w heat sheet) so my running costs are super low. Can’t really complain about that!
I have looked at HLG lights but they are super expensive in Australia 
Edit: Forgot the fan so more like 160w

Hi Neo, I’m ******* … I became a blurpie a few years ago. New on the street and the blurple pushers got me. Said it was Fiiiiire. Would not and Could not find a better product for the price. Until one day I met HLG and turned my life around. Now I feel free and confident. I had enough courage to show that blurpie who was boss and hung that little b**** up to do my seedling work. Finally the veg and bloom switch can help with something.
