Aloha @IslandP from BI.
I was wondering if you have any experience with BB autos here in HI? Have you started in the middle of our short season, like January? What was your seedling to harvest time frame. In researching, I see everything from 7 weeks (which seems impossible) to 16 weeks. I did a couple of Northern Lights autos that I popped on Sept 1 and harvested on Dec 6. Wondering if the BB autos are close to this? Mahalo in advance.
@IslandP blueberry auto should work in your case. I’m not sure how mildew resistant it is, but the indoor flowering time is 55 days. Outside it might flower for a bit longer.
I’m also not sure how many Hawaiian folks we have on here. But we can start tagging people who might know if you want.
Here’s ILGM’s blueberry auto information:
Thanks @Covertgrower, Lucky, I’m on dry-side so mildew not a problem like on the wet-side. So you think 55 days…that’s good!
@ar00tls just want to remind you that 55 days is always an estimate. Girls always finish when they want to…
Definitely an estimate. I currently have an indoor BBA growing she’s 12 weeks old. She looks to have another 1 or 2 weeks before she’s ready. I haven’t screwed her up…yet My first BBA I screwed up being a newbie and starting a preharvest premature and caused her early demise at 10 weeks. Now I know she had another 2 weeks before I should have started flushing. My second BBA was an outdoor and went for 96 days. She ended up with bud rot. To wet this fall where I live. She was a beauty though
She’s a beauty! Thanks for your input!
LOL isn’t that the truth!
I’m all out of likes @Missiles yes it’s true most of the time. Lol
It is true. I can’t even defend us. LoL
