Blue light for end of flowering?

I was reading an article that stated, using more blue light 3-7 days before harvest is supposed to increase cannabinoids and terpene levels by 50%.

I found this interesting, considering that is not how Mother Nature works, there is more red light during the fall.

Since I am close to harvest, I thought I would try it. Has anyone else heard of this or tried it?

UV works and that is in the blue spectrum.

I didn’t think of UV. I feel like I’m always late to the party…

Yeah, no. And those cannabinoids are supposed to “mature” during drying and curing?

If that’s all it takes to increase potency I’d be extremely surprised. It’s better to try to increase trichome production early in flower.

I do it by strategically damaging my plants. Break a branch and the plant responds by increasing trichome, flower and terpene production to increase it’s chances of reproduction.

I stop about 2-3 weeks in flower. Like I said, whatever the plant produces has to mature.
