You could call the soil company and ask what the PH range of that soil is!
thats a idea if you look at the beginning of my journal the plants same soil same everything…lol…i will get the PH up tonite or try plus I have a tw plant coming tonite thats been neglected this is a huge learning curve…….ilgm I do
Day 54/day 19 flower
I completely agree. PH in the high 3’s with MG is pretty common.
and thats why I quit with nuets except for cal mag until the ppm comes down maybe the ph will change…just keep watering thru
Sorry had to go offline to get ready work. Looks like everyone has you going in the right direction. One other thing you might consider is a slurry test to see what your soil ph is. @blackthumbbetty explained to me how to do it. I’ll get back with you later if you want give it a try. Time to head inside to build vehicles.
I don’t think this product has time release though, a slurry test would be best good call @Bulldognuts.
Just starting flowering, lighting and nutes will be key for the next 2 months
@MidwestGuy @Bulldognuts @Nicky @Myfriendis410 The pot is flushed ran 10gal. of water thru it at 6.8 PH initial readings PH5.1/PPM4060 After the flush PH 6.3/PPM 1360 I plan on getting run off tomorrow before adding cal mag recheck everything.Since last sunday I ran 23gal.of water thru this pot.Hopefully the cal mag will make a difference not a clue seems weird. For what its worth I have this cheap soil PH rapid tester it reads 8.1 I dont go bye that.
Those rapid testers are junk don’t rely on them I bought 8 and all didn’t read right.
Okay what type of bloom/flower nutrients do you have?
I would like to know how the blue haze turns out. I almost bought those seeds. I am growing California Dream fem.
I think I am on my tenth grow! All indoor. But really not sure, lost count! Lol
Here’s how to do slurry test.
@Nicky The nuets I plan on using FF, Tiger Bloom,Grow Big,Big Bloom,Open Sesame,Cha Ching,Beastie Bloomz.The nuets I was using General Hydroponics, Flora Micro,Flora Grow,Flora Bloom.WOW I’m nuet poor LOL
This is the TW plant that was growing under a regular light bulb in front of a window for about 10 weeks. The interesting thing here is it is in the same soil as the Blue Haze when I flushed it same PH reading flushed like crazy to get the PH to 6.5 PPM was really hi but came down fast @Nicky
@Nicky @Bulldognuts @MidwestGuy ok I did the slurry test one meter says 6.5 the other6.7PH
@Nicky But then on the other hand the TW never got PH water just city tap water chlorine and all
Right about where you want to be.
That’s the sweet spot in soil.
@Bulldognuts Thanks for the slurry recipe I like that a lot!
