cool deal this will be interesting
Thatâs one thicc lady (cute though). I had the same experience vegging under blurple lights - switched to flouro tubes and growth was more what I wanted. Anyone else had the same experience?
@DVM this light is blurple!! I question it I was using a vipar 700w LED had no issues on previous grows ,last grow got out of hand with the train wreck I had to ugrade the tent, 60" wasnât getting it so I got a new light also TW was already into flower so put the new light up and let er rip plant did wellâŚBud Quality Simply Awsome good weed!! So with this grow I put the new light in why not have to give it the benefit of the doubt it gets top notch reviews,
I never flowered under a blurple, mine was a phytomax 2 and they have a good rep so Iâm sure blurples work great in flower.
The plants vegged under that blurple light turned out like yours - really short internode lengths and the plant looked more like a âmoss buttonâ.
Thinking about it, I did flower for 2-3 weeks before switching to an Optic 6, they did stretch but never got really tall. Maybe thatâs a good thing?
Hereâs the grow log - gold leaf vegged under blurple and flowered under Optic 6 (until the landlord complained about the smell )
@DVM But did they yield??
38 days today
They started to and then the Landlord complained about the smell
Iâm sure youâll be fine but I think it may be a while before she reaches that scrog net
I have until the end of april im in it for the duration win loose or draw âŚ.do I rule out putting up the Vipar OH HEL* NO
@DVM @MyHd I gave the best va elite 2000w the benefit of the doubt , put the Vipar 700w up see what happens the plant is already reaching for the light thats a positive thing
so today im thinking how can a perfectly healthy plant seem to be growing so slowly? I have tried different lite types (using led) light height theres really not much improvement from one light to the other but the plant continues to grow wider with out much height but healthy.i did research on cannabis and pot size from what I understand from several opinions including ilgm the plant is doing pretty much what it should be doing in a 20 gal. fabric pot. what I am doing wrong(according to) is watering technique im afraid of over watering so I get no run off failing to realize the roots at the fabric is important ive been watering to the inside of the pot more than the outside a moist pot will promote air pruning to the roots and improve growth but at the same time the duration of the grow is much longer than it would be say in a 5 gal.potâŚany thoughts?
@Nicky hey I did find the lux meter very helpful simply place the light at your desired height move the meter around the plant adjust the plant to center of the lightâŚThank You
Np itâs much better than guessing
How long did you veg the blue haze? I didnât realize you had a 20g pot. A bit overkill? You could probably grow the same plant in 5g and it would probably be easier to water/manage but thatâs just my opinion so.
@Noctis420 I put her in flower on day 37 in hopes to see if she wouldnt stretch out some.the big pot idea came from the train wreck plant I grew last. in veg that plant consumed water like there was no tomorrow (5gal.pot) I would water til it run out the bottom 9hrs later she was drooping bad (dry) the only way I could keep her moist without drooping bad was to remove branches til the water consumption was under control.(the plant needs to meet my schedule) so the big pot came into play! then my lady friend talked me into putting in 2 plants in the 20gal.pot but you discouraged me real fast of that in a previous post! at the end of the day my friend I accept my mistakes figure out how to fix it and go on I am learning this is truly my 3rd grow!!! 5gal.pots& water bottles if needed from now on!!
@MyHd it looks like I adopting a train wreck plant in 2 weeks
Mine is starting to stretch, itâs doing really good
the last one I grew stretched fast real fast be prepared my friend the branches on that plant 40" to52" long it was a wild rideâŚtaught me a lesson
