Blue Dream Auto, planted 8/5 and heading into 5th week of flower. I am still new at this and want to make sure I harvest correctly.
Can anyone give me any ideas on how close I am based on images below?

5 weeks is barely halfway through flowering. Its still got a lot of growing to do

Mine is 100x-1600x on the left of the three pictured.
Mine came with “clear protective lens cap” which distorted my viewing until I discovered and removed.
Correct, plant “structure” developed, now trichome development and getting heavy.
The hardest part, waiting and watching.
I took this pic this morning with same scope you have … and i will chop this one Sunday. Turn the led to lowest setting make sure cap is off front and dial in till its clear. You can get really close to the bud and adjust till clear with side dial.

I am asking the following question since I am new to all this and not to be an @$$, but what it the point of auto flower?
The reason I ask is because it does not seem to be much quicker than photoperiod plants and therefore I see no benefit of auto’s?

8 weeks of flowering. Mine is a photo period white widow.
Growers can control the plant’s grow shapes and light hours is one method.
Stem and leaf length may be manipulated.

Ok, so I was wondering what the big deal was, because all I knew is that it supposedly was quicker to harvest etc. and I am not seeing much difference in time to harvest at least not with the Blue Dream I have, so that is why I was asking.
As fas as I know about autos pros is resilent genetic from ruderalis… and for whom that cannot control light leak they can switch to bloom on their own.
Autos not mean quick but they have their own clocks.
This is my current grow auto. 8weeks of vegge and now is 10 week already she just stretching
6-8weeks to go so she would be 16-18 weeks from sprout

I just started autos a few grows ago after doing photos for awhile. I had my Bluefruit autos start flower at a month in ground. They are now at about 8 weeks and have a week to go before harvest. I started them in ground on 8/15/23. My photo banana kush was started earlier and still has about 2-3 weeks left. Granted I did veg her longer to fill her out more. I do see a faster turnaround with autos, however I do prefer photos still.
