Yep, you’re good. You could transplant into its forever home. @1BigFella
Agreed You do want to be careful with the trans parent cups because you do not want lights on your roots
I’m with them. It looks like you have active leaf growth which is also a good indicator of it being rooted. I always forget about that trick with the Solo cups lol.
Thanks, guys. Grow bags are on their way.
What size grow bags are you getting?
I have 5 gallon and 7 gallon, but I’m going to go with 3 gallon. I’m using pure coco and 5 gallon seems to make for a very large plant. I need to restrict the height a bit more so I can use my existing grow space. The idea is to use a SCROG at about half the available height. Then the stretch will hopefully not hit the lights. I plan on five plants in 18 square feet, so each plant gets about 3.6 square feet. Not a lot of space.
My one big 5 gallon plant is already taking up 6.7 square feet already and it’s just ready to flip. That one goes outside in my grow cage.
Looks great!!!
Grow bags will be the best. I transplant from Solo cups to three gallon then on to seven gallon as their final home.
I’m starting my next grow this coming week.
Your going to have an excellent grow my friend!!!![]()

I can foresee an outdoor crop too, in the summer time. My grow cage is 6 feet by 12 feet so I can have some really wide plants in there, Each of four could be about 4 by 3 feet and still leave me room to get in there and tend them. I have to work backwards from the end of October to get them to fill their SCROG net before they start to flower. I think taking the clone cuttings in May. They vegetate in June and July. Then they start to flower in mid August and finish before the end of October.
I’ll probably use 5 gallon bags for those four, since I want bigger plants.
I put the big Blue Dream plant in the flowering chamber, because I thought it was too cold out, being January and all. It was 95 here today! Oh well, it will probably get cold and we might have another windy storm or two. It can stay in the flower chamber for at least a month and March would be a better time to put it outside if the weather looks good. Still <12 hour days until March 22, so I doubt I will have any problem with photoperiod.
Pretty dense in terms of cola sites!
That will yield a lot I think @1BigFella she looks huge.
Yeah, I think I got a good phenotype here. I plan to preserve it for a long time by cloning. All I did was to top it a couple of times and it got this thick.
Watch the damned thing be male now! I don’t really think so because the preflowers at the nodes look female. But that would be funny, after all my cloning and electricity to grow this far.
I would be very sad for you @1BigFella that’s a lot of effort to get that far.
It all came from one little clone I bought from a guy in a parking lot because all the legal dispensaries were out of them. Hopefully it is from a mother who has already had her sex proved. Anyway, this Blue Dream plant I am flowering now will be my proof.
I notice the huge difference in penetration between the single HPS bulb in the flowering chamber and the 6 COBs I was running in the veg chamber. I think it’s just simple geometry: The COB light coming from 6 different angles plus better side reflectors. Leaves lower on the plant are starting to yellow and fall off, but they were green and healthy in the veg chamber.
Doesn’t matter because I have so many tops up in the light. But it does say something about having lots of light sources spread out.
Incredibly fast growth. 4 of the 5 have popped up to about 6 inches within the last two days. Full strength DynaGro Grow and about 30000 lux.
All out of likes @1BigFella looking good.
Yeah, that one on the left is a bit stunted compared to the other four. But those four are blowing me away. Let’s see if it can catch up.
