Well, your ph looks good assuming you’re in soil. What are you using for nutes? You might have to up your dosage.
@raustin - I have been afraid to use anything strong since I threw the seed into a pot with Miracle Grow potting soil and it has grown this far … I have been mixing 1/3 dose of 24-8-16 plant food in 6.5 water every 7 days. I think I have a solution for tomato plants that has WAY higher values …
I think that Miracle Grow soil maybe depleted since you have a deficiency. Do you have any other nutes you can use with a higher potassium?
I have an 18-19-21 … I also have a Lowes and Home Depot about 4 miles away if I need to run and buy something … ![]()
Since you’ve been feeding at such a low dose, I think you can use the 18-19-21, but feed at full strength. Wait a few days to see if that helps.
High Five !!
Keep me updated. Fist bump.
Hey bro, just a thought… Flush your soil, like 15-20 gallons. Good luck.
Looks really full mate, I do agree with @North1979 she needs to be flushed mate with 3-4 times the amount the size of the pot it is in it will really help it along and I’d use Ph’d watered
.
Week 1 of 12/12 flip … I see a lot of new growth after I watered heavy with the 18-19-21 at 6.3 PH. I watered every other day, twice (soaked well but not drowned) with the food and then twice with straight 6.3 - about 3 gallons total. Still keeping my finger crossed this works out for a couple of months (8 weeks at 12/12 puts it around Aug 13) … If it is going to take a full two month for flower … I am not sure on all of this …
@Poseidon if you’re running out of room in the tent, you can bend her over, to keep the height down. She’s a very large, beautiful plant.
I am concerned about the height of the tent. It is a six foot tent and with the container, 15 inch dead space between the light and the plant top, and air gap for light fixture ventilation, I might just run out of space. I looked on Leafly and I can only find info on the parents. Blackberry Kush is a 100-200%er in the stretch (7-9 week flower) and Trainwreck is a Sativa hybrid with 100% stretch (7-9 week flower). So, taking the higher of the two values, the top will get scorched. I am thinking about getting a taller tent and using this one for veg only next go-around … Originally, I was thinking about just converting the closet the tent is tucked into – make it a small grow room. Not sure I want to ultimately do. Closet conversion would be the more expensive route and kind of overkill in overall size. I am only growing two plants per cycle (depending on yield). I need to do something quick. For bending, any preferred method, product, etc.? Thanks for helping me.
@Poseidon basically anything that can bend her over. Cotton rope loosely tied to the top, then securing it to the pot itself. Or it’s neighbor. Copper wire if you have it, just leave room for the stem to expand.
Super cropping the smaller but still tall tops will bend her to you will. It’s important to do all of this before you switch to flowering and the stems harden off. You can do it during flowering, but not with out risk of snapping a branch.
I hope, this helps keep her manageable.
I looked at the plant today. I flipped on 6/14 so 11 days in the 12/12 schedule. Looks like a male to me … Possibly a hermie but definitely see banana looking pods on it … Will post pics with lights off …
looks like a male…sorry @Poseidon
i would like to hear what other thought as well…just to make sure, could you send close up?
Sorry, but that’s a male. Kill it!
I killed it … long gone … Very disappointed …
Plan B, I suppose.
Thanks again for all of your help along the way. I do appreciate it.
