Blue Lab pens to monitor Ph and PPM are good products for most home growers. Those el cheepo $10 meters on Amazon are hit or miss. Mostly a miss in my opinion altho some get lucky with something that works.

I paid $50-$60 each for a Blue Lab ph pen and a separate Blue Lab PPM/EC pen. I went the cheap route first and ended up buying the reliable units I mentioned. I actually had one $15 ph pen that was fritzed out of the box, got a second one that lasted 3 or 4 uses then died. Been using the Blue Lab unit almost a year with great results.
Realizing some folks donāt have a budget for certain items, I consider a ph pen an important tool for successful grows. Some will argue this point, and Iāll listen to their input, but careful ph monitoring makes for successful growing in my opinion.

Ok yeah see I couldnāt do a 50 or 60 dollar one thereās no way if i had it to spare then id buy a led panel lol why I tell peeps if they got one that they no longer need and wanna donated it to man Iād pay the shipping lol never know til u ask lol I had no choice and gotta start doing my grow and good meds u canāt trust going to dudes house n getting quality product. I need something strong and relaxing to help with cluster headaches and all Drs wanna do is toss pain pills and they donāt help really other than make u useless and slobbering and I donāt want to be on that shit. Last Dr tried giving me that fentanyl spray shit plus 2 oxycotin 20mg every 4 hours or when I get cluster headaches only thing I had was take extra pills and spray with the oxygen to try n break it some but if you never had one thank God itās worse than an ice pick thru your ear then turning rats loose in there and having a sledgehammer hitting your head repeatedly. So need my meds I can smoke one and if itās good quality it helps ease it up like a regular personās migraine amd thatās doable lol.

Iām totally onboard with your decision to try natural meds (cannabis) instead of those gosh awful opioids. Those are the last resort in my opinion - especially if you want to be active and functional.
My mom is 87 and suffers from depression and scoliosis making it hard for her to cope with back pain. I make her low dose gummy bears which donāt really make her feel buzzed, but they are effective at relieving her anxiety and pain. These meds have no long term negative effects as far as I can tell, and she feels upbeat and positive when using canna-meds.

We got my grandma on canna meds and now she has bounce back. They were slowly killing her with morphine. She is 93 years old.

Hey guys quick question ok I found some American seed - Starter mix it looks good been wet and covered up and sealed worms got in it is all maybe year old is it ok to use I figured it would be my uncle had a greenhouse and I cleaned it out around it and found it and some new seed trays and a tray they sit in but o put the starter over my ffof and made some of the seedling trays they 6 pack kind filled 2 inch deep itās full of perlite and vermiculite sphagnum peat horticulture a wetting agent and lime for pH that sound ok

I totally understand you want to use what you got, and it sounds good. Main thing is you donāt want to burn the seedlings with straight Ocean Forest since it is considered a āhotā soil. A seedling mix like you mentioned should do the trick. Also sounds like you got the porosity and drainage under control. The seedlings can drown if kept too wet.
Yeah Iām using the starter mic I was worried it might bad where itās probably a year old but itās sealed up never cut open or a tear it in just wet from being covered up by grass and rain it has these gold flakes and silver when rubbed they smear

The only argument I have using something old is that you will be unsure if it is viable, if it has been previously used, if it has anything in it that may damage a plantā¦etc. For the sake of going in the right direction, a bag of fresh soil is only a small fraction of the value of the seeds you plan to grow. Your medium is probably just fine, my point is just being cautious that you donāt know much about the soil since you didnāt store it yourself.
I understand what your saying I shouldāve i pray itās ok they are in it for now then into the ffof mix itās probably 75% ff and the 15 seed starter and 10% small rough rocks and pebbles to aid in drainage everyone was out of perlite how stupid is that even Walmart lmao but the other one I put straight into itās final home had already sprouted and doing better than the rest I barely moved dirt o side n could see it didnāt move seed at all

Yeah itās small but the prettiest one i got lol i ssen all the pics of others like that and they look huge then you see a can beside and realize all of them are shorter I donāt know why i was thinking they was like feet tall lmao but itās a learning experience with autos I grown photos anx use to them being 6 feet tall and stuff and then autos Iām thinking they stunted but thats how they are but its good so itās a fast turn over amd you can grow more and get more yield by the end of the year

Iām harvesting 5 autos that are grown outdoors and the outdoor autos are twice as big as my previous tent grown ones. One reason is I did LST inside and no training outside. Those outside had one main cola and very little else. Even though the outside auto plants look impressively larger, the yield wasnāt much different since the LST plants were loaded with buds all over. Your plants will surprise you once they beef up their colas.
