I was dealing with an ulnar neuropathy a couple of years ago. CBD seemed to help, but rather than growing CBD strains, I buy a CBD isolate powder.
I will look into that, havent heard about it at all. Appreciate the heads up! Just trying to get off all the pain meds i can. Its a life long battle and meds are only gonna make it worse over time.
Once my xl kush and blue widow finish i will let know how they go for pain relief , i believe that the kush will be a great one due to medium THC and medium CBD
All the kush seem to be great for pain. Strong afghan strains as wellā¦for me anyways. Its all a science but hit or miss at the same time. I appreciate it!
See at the moment i find if i mix critical purple and purple lemonade and gorilla glue together in a joint or in my bowl it helps alot with my pain and ive made capsules of infused MCT oil aswell which work great
I have CIDP and lots of pain, I have found White Widow during the day and either Granddaddy Purple or Presidential Kush ( purchased from dispensery ) at night do the trick for me.
CIDP : Cronic Inflamitory Demylinating Polynuropathy
Im sorry to hear that, not fair to anyone but glad youve found some relief!
I think it would be helpful to look at the terpene profile of strains that are known to help with neuropathy. There are a lot of theories but actual user experience is the best because of the limited testing due to laws.
We could look at the terpene profile of the strains that are known to provide some relief for neuropathy. There are likely overlaps which would help finding the best strain.
I once visited a site with a database of specific terpene content of various strains but I canāt find it now. However specific terpene content can be found for many of the strains.
Cannabis Terpenes 101: Marijuana Terpene Chart | THC Design
COMMON PRIMARY TERPENES:
Pinene- This compound is commonly derived from the resin in pine trees. Like trees, in other plants, it also has that wonderful outdoorsy, earthy aroma. As a therapeutic remedy, it can be used as an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and bronchial dilator. Haze Berry, OG Kush, and Blue Dream tend to have a higher amount of the cannabis terpene, Pinene.
Humulene ā This is another outdoorsy, woodsy scent. Two main medicinal uses for this compound are as an appetite suppressant and an anti-inflammatory. Humulene terpenes can be found in marijuana strains such as Gelato, Atlantis, and Sour Diesel.
Limonene ā With its bright, citrusy scent, Limoneneās aroma is a mood elevator. Its uplifting qualities help to reduce anxiety and depression. Another therapeutic property is as a digestive aid. This compound is found in Wedding Cake, Quantum Kush, and Berry White.
Myrcene ā Be prepared if you use a strain of marijuana with this terpene. Itās known for an overall body relaxation, also known as āCouch-Lock.ā Another fundamental property is the ability to enhance absorption through the skin and to also increase the number of cannabinoid substances in the brain. More cannabinoids in the brain give the user a sense of euphoria. The scent is an earthy, clove-like smell. Marijuana strains with this terpene include OG Kush, Girl Scout Cookies, and Grape Ape. Myrcene is also a chemical in hops, the major component in beer.
Absolutely correct on this one! Will take some time and research but spot on and certainly worth looking into! Thank you
Gg4 has always been good for me. Let me stop gabopentin.
I hate gabapentinā¦made me feel and sound just plain stupid lol. Would loose words mid sentence, use the wrong words, and just simply not make a lick of sense at times. Have gg4 going now and have fingers crossed! Thank you so much for your input on this matter! Real life opinions help so much more than studies or āseed reviewsā
@Punkyreid Are you referring to neuropathy or some other kind of pain?
I know blue dream helps alot of folks it just happens to disagree with me. I dont know if it goes for others with neuropathy or just me or if it was just the couple i tried. But either way it scared me off of it for now.
I stopped using it too. It didnāt work well and I didnāt like the feeling.
A first try at looking at strains mentioned as being useful for neuropathy. I couldnāt find numbers for Super Critical Bud CBD. Also couldnāt find a good online source with in stock seeds.
My preference is for ILGM. I have had good luck with them, I like their guarantees and quick service. All shipping costs built into the price and of course this forum.
Blank entries donāt signify zero. Also all entries should be considered with skepticism.
I appreciate it brother!!! Yes sir, ILGM is the only seed bank i use! I love their service and everything else about them. Honestly wish every company ran like they did.
