Yes eventually I want to create my own strain and company.
And right now I have two plants that are transitioning to the flower stage now. But I’m going to limit myself to 1 plant per grow until I get the hang of this and become really good and knowledgeable.

I have 2 HLG135 v2 coming today. Am ordering another one today also. It’s only $10 more to go this route. If you want to start your own company, invest in the better stuff now. I am a complete beginner too. Only been growing for a month now and have learned so much. The best investment I have made into my business venture was completely free and I already had them. I joined this forum and I used my ears to listen to what people are saying. Even if it a thread about something I already read about, I still read it. Every question is unique and I find things in the discussions that I didn’t know all the time.

I’ve been growing for about 58 or 59 days now but (I need to go look) and I wish I was having these talks before they gotten so big. I’m going to look at these lights now.
I wish I would have too. I really didn’t even think I’d get the seeds to sprout. I wasted about $100 on an inferior light but now I have a light for clones or seedlings. You can always find a use for it. Worst case, I’ll grow a tomato plant in December lol. I’m hoping come harvest time, everything will have paid for itself! When I get my lights built and hung, ill post some pics so you can see them. I’m a small operation myself with only 4 plants
Okay I will keep you posted as well as I try to get more yield from my plants. I topped them yesterday in hopes to get more bud production leaves so we will see.
With better lights you will also get denser nugs. Because in the end, things are judged by weight not volume.
I FIMed my plants and they expoloded with new cola sites.
I use pro mix soil i don’t care for ffof soil anything that i spread out in my yard and burns the grass dead i would not advise for a new grower. I would use a mh hps light till you had the money together to diy build a led/cree or cob or a combination light it will be worth it and you will save more money check out Craigslist and offer up there are many people who spend a ton of money on equipment and burn their crop and sell it all for less than half price. I wish I knew about this forum 2 years ago i got taken for close to 900 dollars for shitty leds and went with advertised watts and not actual watts out of the wall.I’m back to mh and hps but if your trying to start your own strain and company you will need 3 tents a shelf for cloning and another tent or space you can isolate for pollen collection. You will have to tag and organize and separate for what genome and traits and then breed back for 7 generations to make stable and cross again if not satisfied with what you came up with. Good filters to and clean practice to keep from cross pollination by accident to. Hope this helps you a little a diy light for 6 to 800 dollars will twice the work a store bought one will do.
That sounds like a TON of work to breed strains. I’ll just be buying seeds.

According to amazon you’ll be fine. Have you seen any journals using said light?
YouTube videos of the entire light set from 300w to 1000w actual output is lower than 1000w obviously but still produces More light than my set up all together combined then doubled… soooo.
Yup. They said 400 actual watts. May not be pure awesome efficacy. But she will get the job beyond done. Think itll do up to a 3x3 vegging. And possibly flower. For your space it should be fine. My thing is for 250… but i digress
It says that it’s up to an actual 1000w if you have the energy source to support all 1000w
I would look further into soils. There are a lot of good soils out there that are easy to learn with. Kind soil requires no nutes throughout the entire grow. Only ph water.
I mix vermifire and roots original with nectar for the gods #4 and it gives me a 45 day charge so I’m good til flower.
Make sure u get a good ph and ppm meter. That will b your best tool. Do u have a loupe or scope yet? U have plants in flower u will need it.
