I couldn’t be diagnosing these things without a lifetime of experience. All about my past successes and failures with a combined knowledge.

It’s a beautiful thing to see so many different people with different grow styles growing killer bud! Budbrother is tops when it comes to soil, hands down. I have chimed in on some grow inquiries with a little who’s who here. I suggested a couple different folks for each grow style and media, to steer newbies towards the right help for them. One of what I feel are many positive aspects of Promix is being inert, I can easily adjust nute EC and PH for different stages of growth and if you get a deficiency, it’s easily corrected and they get the correct minerals instantly. Problems can be corrected quickly and any toxicity can simply be flushed and corrected, however getting plenty of runoff usually keeps things in line with Promix and CoCo. Soil takes a little time for the crobes to break down organic matter for plant uptake, so corrections can take a bit longer. 
I’ll chime in as a living soil guy as well. I used to use FFOF and FFHF, too many inconsistencies with their nutrient levels in the soil and also pH fluctuations. ( Not to mention fungus gnats) Led me to choose Build a soil 3.0, I can never look back. This soil buffers great, you get 4 to 5 weeks no feeding ( in 5 to 7 gal) if you move up to 10 ( 10 gal you still need to feed last 4 weeks of flower ) or 15 gal then you get the water only side of the soil and get away with a couple top dresses in flower basically no work with great results.
If anyone is interested in the water only approach run 15 gal of the 3.0 and you’ll get to dabble, I still say you should top dress a lil craft blend and build a flower just to get that added boost of essential micro and macro nutrients to aid in flower building! For soil users 3.0 is tailored towards and easy rewarding grow but you can easily over feed this soil because it is packed with goodies already!
With soil it’s more just don’t over think it. Feed your microbes, they love molasses, keeps em happy! A regular top dress of worm castings is always a good choice with soil helps build the community in your soil. Growers recharge is something any soil grower should have, gives the lil guys a boost and helps them break down what is in the soil faster and more efficiently and it has molasses and kelp meal in it come on, easy peasy! Hope this helps a lil…
