Seedlings doing what they do getting bigger and had a surprise this am Peyote Cookies made a showing 8 days after being in the slolo cup full of coco 
doing somersaults under the surface me thinks because of how she showed herself.

Welp did the drive today with snowblower 2+ hrs feel ok a bit wore out but hey another + in my book, see ifin I pay for it tomorrow

Wife makes them Cheese it’s, pretzels, and when feeling it she makes deep fried bread (dough gobs) here cut a pocket in them and shove butter, sugar and cinnamon in the middle they are damn good @NewGrower31

I make a mean soft pretzel, that I’ve pulled of multiple times. I’ve also done the fired dough which is always a winner. I haven’t made very many things like that lately though

Wife make alot of things, but cookies and cake are her fail, she can not get it, I do the cookies, do not go out of my way for cake, give me a damn pie, Keylime, lemon, Pecan, or a good chocolate pudding pie, we share the cooking but that said she likes my food better, making a pot of Venison stew tomorrow.

We had a pot of “butt stew” on the wood stove yesterday. Boston butt smoked to perfection, hand pulled in a big ole pot of veggies from the fall harvest.
The previous cold snap the venison chili was incredible!

Up date on my health and surgery, U of M finally sent records up here to my Primary, went and saw her yesterday the examine was , sent me back this am and had a MRI and blood work done, will get those results tomorrow, then set me up a appt at Oncology dept then Neurologist for keeping tabs on the stroke remnants. Moving forward 4 more monthly checks then 2- 3 months checks then 6 month checks for next 5 yrs. Weehaa I may have conquered this.

Doing well @1LuckyMF just getting back to normal now or closer hehehehe. Never been real normal.
Yes we hit the cold weather so its soups stews and chili for a bit.

I haven’t eaten much venison. A couple times I think as sausage/jerky deal.
I’m not as big into pies, I like cakes but don’t really make em. Me and her both do pretty good cookies. But just the classic chocolate chip mostly.
Do you hunt? That’s something I’ve never done. I feel like I could probably shoot a deer but my wife would probably have to gut and butcher it, that’s our arrangement if we we’re ever in that situation lol.

@1LuckyMF yes had a kidney removed in Nov, and between time of finding out it needed gone and surgery had a small stroke been a hella ride since Sept as they say " Getting old aint for sissies" but getting back to life now started working couple days aweek now.

Backstraps always a treat, 2 more packs here then gone till Oct, no hunting last season so it looks like fish to supplement we going to try this weekend for some Trout.
