Yes it is @Twelve1 I pass 50 + trucks heading west to work as they head east towards our town for work, have met a few at the local stores, and have personaly shook their hands and thanked them, met a fella from Alabama this am and he said they followed a crew up from Texas, my son is a linesman and after 9 yrs going south to help others after hurricane’s he is doing it for us now, crews are putting 16 hr shifts and around the clock, we are going to do volunteer work this weekend 45 miles south of us to get food and some comforts ready for the crews at a big azz encampment they have set for them so they have a warm place to sleep hot showers and a decent meal, after busting hump all day/night.

Ah yep have let them know while I am home they are welcome to stop in and we will share hot coffee and our food, the food trucks around here are set up all through town to give them hot lunch.

Our crew at work got together ordered 50 pizzas and hot subs to hand out on our way home we each took a split and stopped at crews working and gave them out, it aint alot but these boys are tired and beat up bad.

@SausageMahoney that is a fact right there brother, I hear scuttle butt from lots just a bitching, they are not doing enough, blah blah blah, those people have no clue I have seen about 20 semi loads of power poles coming in 12 loads of transformers, loads of wire and these workers are busting ass as fast and hard as they can, my son is in the mix and he is whipped with 2 weeks more of 16 to 20 hrs aday, then they are going to start on fiber optic for at least a month, and his house powerless still, just dropped of another 25 gals of gas for his generator this am, so his kids and wife can stay warm while he is out fixing the grid.

@Crazy81 doing what we can to support as many as we can and keep them heathy, Welcomed and with a feeling they are very appreciated for what they are also going through, many have never been in this kind of terrain and enviroment and climate much less rebuilding a 10-12 county power grid from the bottom up.

Hey growmie I’m glad you’re safe and made it through that storm. I was lucky where I’m at we got tons of water. It messed the fishing up when suckers are running but nothing else major. Hope you’re able to get ready for the 2025 grow season. I know I’m excited for it.

Things are getting better in some areas, some people are loosing their shit and getting rude and threading workers and Power company, I understand the stress but come on people get a grip, piss them workers off you may not get power back or get your ass beat them boys are tough and working their ass to only Help us.

Howdy GrowBro hope all has thawed out and getting sunnier. U getting your outdoor plants ready yet? Im getting a Predator 4000, 4000watt generator. Next week so things looking up , could use that in the long run as a back up power supply to my shed once I’ve got the tents up and running.

04-16-2025 update
Welp last text was chopped after work today and is now hanging in the 2x4 starting to dry great haul, nice tight buds, and talk about trics the fan leaves where covered, just a few pics of late Harley Quinn CBD.
One of the 6 branches she had
Will get more during dry and on the trim table. Her little sister is close also.
