Beginner...what am I doing wrong?

The prong probe deals are so unreliable

We’ve all been there! Overall you’re doing great. Correct PH is the single biggest help you can give to your plants IMO. Be aware though that autos are on a clock and they grow until the timer goes off. These will not grow to be monsters.

I would suggest looking in on one of the grow journals experienced with autos and you can get some idea of the challenges and issues likely you will have to deal with.

l actually prefer photoperiod plants because I can tailor the size of the plant to the space I’m growing in. If they’re a little slow off the line then they just grow longer before flipping. With autos you mostly want to give them supportive care.

pH is really important
Cannabis is a slightly acid loving plant
They like a pH of 6.2-6.8 for watering and feeding
If the pH is not correct the plant actually will start to starv to death because it cannot uptake all the nutes in the soil
@Myfriendis410 referenced nute lock out.

Outta likes @Myfriendis410 but I likey

Ok @Minnie59 welcome to the forum
We need to get the ph numbers
Do you have the flower power feeding schedule if not I’ll find it for you
I’ll be checking back in tomorrow to see what’s up it the end of a long day for me and 230 am comes fast
I’m thinking that @Myfriendis410 is on track with stalling due to ph

Have a good restful nite @Countryboyjvd1971

@Minnie59 I can’t stop laughing when I read your post. I am a copy and paste total failure!!

@Minnie59 can you if possible get me a gew pictures of the plant that has color issues and twisted leaves its hard to tell with you grow light
Also what did you order to test ph
I recommend a digital ph meter and if you haven’t gotten one a tds meter as well bith standard tool i our tool boxes
Tag me when you post the pictures happy growing

Wow…can u believe how much they have grown in just a week!!! My ph is between 6 1/2 and 7. The temp is around 75 and humidity at 25. I am not really sure if those r good numbers or not. Thanks to everyone for all the support. I was ready to trash 2 of them last week. So glad ya’ll were so kind to help me out. I am 60 year old Grandmaw on her first grow. Don’t know how to copy paste or tag. Thankfully you got me thru it!
Now if I can figure out how to post pics…lol

Hi @Minnie59, we’ve got lots of grandma’s here! Yes, you are not the only one. Welcome to the forum. :slightly_smiling_face:

We have lots of grandmas and grandpas here (me included in the later - north of 60).

Yes, I had one of those which is now in the trash where it belongs.:+1:

pH is one of the biggest parameters that throws a grow into a tailspin. Get your pH into the correct range and many other issues will be resolved.

Hahaha most of our members are over 40 for sure im 46 myself @Minnie59 not a grandfather yet
Mostly cause you dont meed to teach the young kids they know everything already hahahahha
Just kidding
We definitely do have a mature membership with i found to be wonderful all are friendly and helpful as well
I would try to keep your ph in the 6.5 range 6.3-6.8 is perfect for soil grows but consistency is best
Temp is good
humidity should be raised tho
A humidifier will help with that

Thank you. I ordered a humidifier but won’t be here till Monday. So happy u guys got me back on track!
Also u mentioned a schedule for flower power. I found a chart online once but can’t find it again. I am not good with computers…lol. Granddaughter usually helps me…but not on this subject…lol

@Minnie59 I’m closer to 70 than I am 69! I was born in the first half of the last century! Now that’s ancient! Welcome! good honest place to be and safe!
