So I bought some gold leaf last year there was one seed darker than the rest so I sprouted it on March 10 it is now May 1 in the plant looks like it should be early August my question is do you think I was sent auto flower seeds instead of the feminized seeds that I ordered wondering what to do thank you
Do you mean it’s flowering and shouldn’t be yet?
edit: I re-read, and yes…that could be the case, as there are both available (fem/auto) in the seed bank. Perhaps they got mixed. I’d contact them if you feel that’s the case, and I’m sure they’d help you out.
Thank you very much at this point I will just deal with it but it is a bummer
I appreciate you input thank you so much!!!
Pags
I really hope it is just this one as I said it was very dark like twice as dark as all others
Growing out doors this will be the Gold leaf for this year
At least the strawberry cough and green crack look all right I pray they are females this is my first time dealing with feminize seeds so I’m not comfortable yet
Happy growing
The color of the seed has nothing to do with it. But if they’re getting more than 12 hours of light each day, and flowering, I’d bet they’re autoflowers.
Can you get us a picture
Is it just hairs that are comming out maybe plant is maturing telling u it’s ready to flower. I had hairs on alot of my plants before they started to flower

It’s a Auto
But thank you!!!
Like everything in the world of genetics, variation is to be expected. Even if seeds all come from the same plant there will be differences in each of the plants from that batch. Just like none of your kids will look or develop exactly the same even tho from the same two parents, some of those seeds may look different, (darker or lighter or bigger or smaller), grow different, (big or small or fast or slow), or even have a measure of different smells or effects. This is why people clone plants. Then you have as many plants that are exactly the same as you want.
Most of the time these differences are minor and mostly unnoticeable. On occasion it will present itself as something we think is a mistake. Its not anyone’s fault, its just random genetics playing out. Its quite possible that even tho your girl is flowing early that it may have other qualities that are amazing. Perhaps it will have knock out medicinal qualities? You wont know till she does whatever she will do. So grow her up and see what happens.
And Gold Leaf autos did not exist last year.
Thank you that is why I pick the one that is different I like Poppin seeds I don’t like everything the same I like unique entities but the package had a on it as you can see in the picture and they’re sending me more these were ordered August 2018 with them sending me more sounds like they were autos
But you for you insite
Poping is poping!!!
@Spiney_norman
This exactly what I was going to say. Do you have a picture of plant? This plant is growing outdoors?
Its cool you are getting extra seeds. Everyone loves that perk.
But the label also has www on it meaning White Widow.
Looks like they used a random label and wrote GL on it.
Maybe you did get an early run of the Gold Leaf Autos.
Whatever the case you get to do some experimenting. Have fun.
I wrote the GL because it did not make sense
So wrong type and a Auto at that
I would not call them extra or a perk
I would say trying to fix theee mistake I caught
I will take a pic when I get home
It says the file is to big thanks for the look
Not mad just kinda bummed
Sorry yes it is out doors
With a green crack and a starw berry cough
Was just trying to lighten the mood. Didn’t want my post to sound negative.
SO you got 5 White Widow autos instead of the Gold Leaf.
And it sounds like they are fixing the mistake, so thats good.
Im sure they will give you some enjoyment anyway,
The www is probably white widow, not gold leaf, green crack, or strawberry cough. So I’m not really sure what happened there?
But that doesn’t mean you absolutely have an auto plant. This stuff happens pretty regularly with photoperiod plants started inside and then moved outside too early. Any chance something like that happened?
It may be white widow auto, but I’m not sure what would’ve happened there.
@ILGM.Sharon can you take a look at this members order please?
