B.D's first grow/auto gorilla cookies

Hi, I’m growing Gorilla Cookies from 420FastSeeds.

Growing in a 24x24x48 tent, 100w LED light w fan. Carbon filter duct fan. 5 gallon cloth pot. Happy frog soil & Foxfarm food/schedule. Lights at about 65% 24/7. RO Water, about every other day. No food yet.

I just put it in the tent, after repotting from a 3.5" round plastic pot. Three days ago.
A couple photos.

My concern right now are my run off water numbers. Ppm is about 1400, Ph is 5.6-5.9. My EC readings are 4500-5500. Am i reading my meter wrong? When i test the water by itself it reads 10. Help please.
Also any helpful hints about anything you see wrong. Thanks in advance.

Nevermind the ec confusion, understood.

Welcome to the forum. I am glad to see your repotted plant take off. Happy growing.

Your getting close to feed numbers. With Happy frog, I wait until the runoff ppms are 900 PPM and I start to feed user is to maintain a 1000PPM runoff

This is way to low for HF soil. You need to get soil ph to 6.5 I would use at least 3 mil of calmag per gallon mixed in your RO water then ph the mix to 6.5 then proceed to water to run off.

This strain is in my top 3 favorite of all time and the breeder fast buds is in my top 2. You should do some research ASAP on LST (especially with this strain) as this plant will benefit tremendously from some simple LST.

EC means electro conductivity. The short explanation is EC equals the same as PPM X 2

Example
150ppm = 300EC.

Plant stretching too tall
At some point your plant was stretching for the light and is what we call leggy (when the stem is too long between noobs). LST would have a huge impact on fixing this issue.

This is an indica dominant plant it shouldn’t be that leggy

Feeding
While you still have a little time you might want to familiarize yourself (if you haven’t already) on feeding and mixing nutrients.

I’ve seen way too many newbies wait until the day it’s time to feed and have no clue on what to do.

Ty for the info @Lostgirl ! A couple questions. LST; should i tie down now? Also i have a trellis or screen, can i use this in conjucntion with lst?

I have ph up and calmag on the way.

This is what i have for nutes right now.

Do i need anything else?

Thanks again!

also, what would happen to my HF soil that my ph would be low? I didnt envision this being a problem based on my research.

Having a ph that’s to low or to high will cause lockout of nutrients. Soil needs around 6.5 coco is lower around 5.8 to 6.2. I’m sure the experts will be by to better explain there are charts online that show what nutrients get taking up at what ph levels. Hope that helps

I would

I don’t use trellis or screens

Looks like you got your basics covered

Many factors can make ph off. The better question is how to get it back on track before you start having issues.

If you’re Cal mag does not come before next time to feed use your household tap water (if above 150 PPM) not the RO water. pH that to 6.5 and feed. Document your runoff numbers

Sweet! Itll be here tomorrow. Ph up maybe Friday. I appreciate the help! @Lostgirl

Ill post my LST effort.

It doesn’t take much buddy. They’re incredibly fragile at this stage all you got to do is give it a slight bend and stick a garden steak in it (or tie it down)

My gorilla cookies turned out to be big… just under 4 feet tall

I would definitely suggest to keep moving the light 18-24inches from the canopy around 50%-60% to induce some slight stretching.
I like to have set days where I raise and lower the light as well as light intensity to simulate cloudy days and different lighting . Some days for stretching some days for growing stronger

I’m also on week 11 just starting to flower . It seems like stretching it causes it to veg longer as well
