No, that makes complete sense. I understand this about the light. I was just curious if I am running a good Ppfd or not. I had nice big dense buds when I used a lot of light. It might’ve been over kill actually because I had a couple dry tops. So that’s why I pulled back on the amount of light I’m giving them. I am just looking for the sweet spot. I want those big buds again but without the light damage. I am hoping I have it this time.

Sooo… I’m pretty sure I’ve got root rot again…Was wondering if it’s possible to save a photo plant (yeah I know your auto’s only!! ;>)Oddly both times it’s happened is right after a strong dose of Recharge…
I didn’t know what is was the first time but the soil was smelling bad like sewage…Got it again, oddly after recharge?Should I flush her maybe or pull and peroxide the roots and repot.?

Pictures would help but allowing good dry backs is very important! Wet to dry cycles!
What soil are you running? You might able to run perlite next run to help with aeration.
Hydrogen peroxide will help kill bacteria and make sterile. This could be a problem if your in organics.
More details could be helpful.

The symptoms are same as last time Smelly FFHF with extra perlite, dying curling leaves , excessive browning on sugar leaves with curling sudden onset (not nute burn) using peters 20-14-12 lite dose @ 3/4 T per gl. I know not ideal… Kinda organic with nute help.
I have not added any cal/mag, the plant was vegged in a solo for too long before trans plant but was looking ok. 4th week of 12/12 OG Kush photo was tall and skinny but budding well …UNTIL! ;> Also pistills are shriveled,as if lacking water I fed her a gal of nute mix (in a 3gl fabric) with recharge 3 days ago and she was quite dry then and ready for water (On that note I’m wondering if the water got to the tiny root ball she had (I burried her all the way at bottom of pot due to her height Maybe I should have bottom fed due to her being really dry last watering I hope this didn’t “channel around the root zone and she is just over dry! Hmm does have " too dry” kinda symptoms too Could be root rot too cause that affects water uptake I here. TY for your reply !!

I would try some hydrogen peroxide, help clean up the roots. Teaspoon per gallon should be enough.
You think you might have over dry symptoms as well?

What’s your tent temps? Any idea what the roots temps are? Is it possible the pots are setting on a cold floor and possibly causing under performing roots?

All good there on temps 70-73 As for roots my bad cause I went from solo to 3 gl and straight to flower due to height issues and need to just finish her due to my first accidental photo run ;< I’m thinking (uh - oh) I will bottom water only in morn . lights on , and see if she perks up , and if smell and symptoms don’t improve (she only smells when wet) He he 
, flush her in a day.?

I’m not a recharge user but I don’t see anything that would cause extra stretch, from my understanding it’s just bacteria and fungi.

It can. Recharge is microbes and sugar. Too much can provide food for bad nasties in addition to the good microbes. I find it exacerbates underlying issues that you may not have known about (nutrient imbalances, accelerated growth of bad bacteria, etc etc)

Yep dang it , what I was hoping Not to here …TY … I might have questionable soil…That dang It! Full flush or re pot, it doesn’t have much root mass…Tall skinny, solo roots into 3 gl straight to 12/12. Could pull it and inspect maybe? Or just a hard flush with peroxide at the end/or last half of flush, and then half fert/and half recharge to reset .? And then

If it were me I would just flush, full strength nutes phed. No recharge.
Transplanting in flower is probably not gonna give you the results you’re looking for.
Peroxides not a bad idea, help bring down the bacteria level a little if that’s what you’re thinking the problem is.
It’s also not abnormal to have funny smells with organics or anything involving bacteria colonies.

Yes I agree with you I’m doing that in am TY for everything! Funny smells is also good to know It’s the only time it happens… will flush and update! TY! Peroxide w/flush will be first so will be intering 1st time This plant was an accident just growing her out . WMLuck!

You’re soo welcome, I try to go on the side of caution, even if the flush isn’t needed it won’t hurt anything. But it could be very beneficial.

Added two more speakers to the theater, spent my day wiring them up and tuning them in. I think I got them dialed!
