Autoflower NL ready?

:+1:t2: I googled powder mildew. Maybe the top of the pic was what looked mildewy Blurry. Idk. Good old Google. Too close to end to deal with probs.

In my opinoin If ur close to harvest say a few days,if there is any PM i would just cut it off. Then black it out for 24/48 hours then give her a once over before i put her on the choppn block. Good growing.

I was in the chop or not debate Thursday then I said screw it I’m choppin fri. 90ish days Friday it is. Said 56 days avg flower figured 60… Couldn’t tell when it hit flower as its auto and first time so thought 30 days of veg considering I probably shocked it transplanting. So chop at 90. Then I didn’t  I’m a let them grow as fat as I can watching for red trichs. When I see red I’ll chop. Was watching a thread on grass city and dude pulled 36 wet ending up 9-12 oz dry. Three months of work I hope I get more than that. Just for reference I weighed two packs of smarties on kitchen scale was damn 12g I’ll be patient. Planning my next grow keeping mind occupied and fingers off scissors.

Just curious is there much difference between the strains of diff breeders. Like a northern lights from ilgm is it much diff from NL from a diff breeder? Just thinking diff kinds of same strain would have slightly different growth habits. Or am I thinking too much into plants brains. Be awesome to breed some tendrils into weed lol. Make training a breeze.

I would think every breeders Northern Lights would be slightly different, but pretty much the same, as every other breeders Northern Lights. Yes, there’s tons of different pheno types for each strain, which show different traits and characteristics, but if I were to compare a Fuji Apple from my local orchard to a Fuji Apple from California, they should be pretty much the same. Other than different traits from where they were grown, how they were grown, the conditions they were grown in, etc.

Was reading on the trich ratio for a ready plant. It was mentioned that a sativa may have different ratio than an indica. I got my NL from ilgm and I believe it was 20/80 indica heavy. It was just interesting and wasn’t sure if the difference was minute and not worth burning the brain cells calculating. As for apples I’m a honey crisp man myself.
Cheers j*h

@Jheezy Had 2 NL x Big Bud autos from same breeder, one was a classic Christmas tree shape but the other one branched out like a sativa ?

Both finish same time, both yielded about the same and both were exactly the same smoke in the end ?

Have a dumb question about ballasts. I know what they do kind of. Question is I got a CFL 125 watt was wondering if that’s a ballast or just a plug. Was steering clear of ballasts because of interference it causes. Don’t want a beacon to my house.

eD

I was heat testing my cabinet. Will rearrange later

It’s actually a plug with a built in ballast haha

Hmmm is this the kind of ballast I’ve been hearing about that interferes with cable signal etc. heard this guy say the cable guy had traced an interference to his house and he didn’t even have cable. It’s from Apollo horticulture. Pretty cheap. Light and socket and reflector $40

@Jheezy Is that really a thing? I never heard that before ? (anyway I have Dish LOL)

…in the dark days they used to fly over with heat detecting helicopters, flir I guess, at least that was the rumor

… then there was Operation Green Merchant :frowning2:

I read some post from a guy where the cable guy knocked on the door and said something in his residence is causing an interference. Not sure if it was magnetic ballast or digital and don’t really know what those are I use led and CFL bulbs was wonderin more for the part about me being discreet.
It’s an e39 mogul base socket Read you can test by playing a radio in front of it. Now to find a radio Idk tv is digital now -prob nothin

It’s so different now in legal states!

the other day three of us were down at the beach and in the park behind us they were running some police dogs and one came right over and alerted on us

two of the three of us just laughing cuz we have a license, but the other guy left !

…at that point my friend said that right there was worth the whole money for the license

Enjoy. Pretty sure my one plant would get me a prison stay unless there’s a first time leniency thang. It’s getting better. 1/2 oz is a misdemeanor. But cultivation’s lowest level is under 10 lbs -free vacation to prison -no wammies. Waah waaah waaah

My dog alerts on everybody. Well their butts at least.

I’m pretty sure every CFL is self-ballasted. Check the pic below. It’s of my little 9w CFL.

Well I’ll be ballasted. I’ll have to dig post up and research Probably being overly cautious. I think it was an old magnetic ballast that messed with signals. Guess I needed something to occupy my time I have learned quite a bit about a subject I will never benefit from. I do like my light though lol. It’s bright.

Or maybe that means the LAMP must have a ballast? Haha I don’t know? Self-ballasted Lamp either means the bulb has one in it, or the lamp should. But again, I don’t actually know I’m just making somewhat educated guesses haha

My bigger bulb has built in one  He must have had Non CFL. (Bal)last time I aske about that :+1:t2:
