Autoflower grow

Just ordered x15 seeds. 5x Amnesia haze, 5x Blueberry, and Northern Lights. I plan on growing 5 for my first grow starting in small pots with FoxFarm potting soil and water with 6.7 PH spring water then transplant around 3 weeks old outside and start LST. What else would I need to do those first 3 weeks and earlier?

Are they all auto flowers?? I know auto flowers are finicky, I’ll have to think on who’s the queen of Auto’s. @blackthumbbetty. I’m pretty sure that’s her she’s the one to talk to

Good choice on your mix pack, They will start flowering. Between 4 to 7 weeks. Be careful with your transplant try not to disturb. Autos veg time is short . you can get a stubborn one sometimes That will take longer to flower.

That’s why I wanted a transplant at about 3 weeks. Gives that extra week to heal if the transplant goes bad.

Are you going to leave them in pots outside .

I usually grow the Autos in a 5 gallon fabric pots. Inside or outside. They will do fine in the ground.

Thank you @CoyoteCody
Welcome @Meliodas :v: that’s a nice pack. I grew those also. Amnesia Haze is one of my favorite morning/daytime strains. Blueberry is delicious :yum: great evening smoke for me.
I learned a lot from @blackthumbbetty
She’s a wealth of knowing and a great educator. Check out her journals and you’ll learn a lot. So many great growers around that have taught me so much. Don’t hesitate to ask questions and tag people. Everyone is so helpful around here.

Be careful with to many stressors at once, it can lead to stunting and or early flower. If your going outside you’ll need minimal LST
How’s the humidity in your area? My attempts at outdoor led to bud rot and spider mites. It was a learning experience for sure. Here’s my first outdoor blueberry autoflower

It stays humid around here so I just grow indoors, until I find the right strain thats grows well in my area.
Which fox farm soil are you using? I’m currently using Happy frog. Are you going directly in the ground at transplant or leaving in a pot?
Good luck with your grow. It’s a lot of fun. :v::green_heart:

No problem just telling the truth lol.

No transplanting autos in the traditional way, just to avoid stressing them out. They don’t like their roots messed with.

There is no “extra week to heal” in auto flowers. They do what they want on their own schedule. :grinning:

Thanks, @greenjewels!

Hey, @Meliodas, maybe use peat pots/jiffy pot/cow pot or something. Then, you can just pop them into the ground.

I’ve decided to use 5 gal fabric pots, using foxfarm ocean forest soil. First question, how important is good ec and ppm? If I use water that has good ppm, ec, and ph and that soil above will a autoflower suspected to flower in 8-9 weeks grow great? Would I need to feed the plant with that much free soil and water nutrients?

Good luck I’ll be watching

5 gallons is a great size for autoflowers. That soil should feed the plant for around 4-6 weeks, then you’ll need to start feeding her nutrients. When they go into flower, usually about 4-6 weeks, they will get very hungry.
When you fill your pot you should use some seedling soil in the center to plant the seed in. Use about the size of a solo cup worth, a little more if ya like. It will be much happier if it’s germinated in seed soil. It gives it a chance to start out with only what the seedling needs. The seed will send out good roots to the hot soil when it can handle it. I’ve seen a lot of seedlings, especially autoflower, get planted in ocean forest. They usually get burnt right at the beginning of their life. A TDS meter is very important when you use nutrients. :v::green_heart:

This is my final grow plan, I will have a journal. 3 Gallon Fabric pots, Soil. Foxfarm Ocean Forest. From seed to harvest in the same pot, Water kept at the right measures, Foxfarm Trio nutrients and life spent outdoors. Watch the leaves, Soil, and later buds for problems. Harvest. Smoke.
