Auto gotten too tall

i have an auto that has grown more then any other plant. its now way too close to the light and im noticing light stress i can dim the light , but then everything else will suffer. Can I take an auto outside? its just entered flower. not sure what to do in this situation. ?

Definitely can take it outside. I would. You’ll probably get a better product too.

Make sure to harden it off in the shade first.

Do you have pics? Maybe it could be super cropped?

Slightly bend it from the top tie to your pot. Had a Bruce Banner auto stretch to the point had no other
Option.

Sadly, I dont have the room to try that, Thanks !

I would think that super-cropping an auto at that point would not be good for an auto but I’ll tag some @Graysin since I don’t like autos and try to avoid them LOL

I do know you can throw an auto outside for sure because I start mine indoors but as soon as I can, they go outside. The light schedule doesn’t matter so you can throw them out any day.==

I treat my autos like my photos, up until my auto is preflowering. Then I cease topping her, but in every other respect continue to treat her like a photo.

I supercrop autos with great success, and imo the only real way to slow them down once they get rolling is to ruin their environment. They are nowhere near as sensitive as folks seem to believe. Largely, I think that’s because most auto breeders are pollen chuckers, and don’t take time to remove bad genetics from the bunch.

Thanks lady gray! I was just worried because he said they were already close to the light and I’ve never gotten an auto to get that big ROFLMAO   hence, I stay away from autos LOL
