Just getting prep ready for 3rd year of outdoor growing. I was told recently that auto flowers do not need the regular strength nutrient that feminized plants would use.
Last year I grew auto flowers and feed them as I would have for regular feminized plants.
Just looking for input about the strength mix for auto flower plants

I feed jacks around 800 or 900. 1000 at flower.
I use the same strength as for photo period for my autos they’ve never suffered from it autos tend to be smaller but obviously grow quicker so I would think they need the same amount because they’re going to use it quicker just like anything alive plants have a metabolic process quicker growth usually means a quicker metabolism and a need for nutrients and water sooner
Thanks. Yeah, i was surprised to hear this guy tell me about lowering / diluting the nutrient(s). I think I will just gat at it as I did last year.
The only thing I really do different for autos is I dont give my autos veg nutrients I just start giving them the nutrients for flowering once they start developing pistols they usually have enough nutrients in the soil for veg so feeding before flowering starts just feels unnecessary to me
I use Flora Nova Grow and the Flora Nova Bloom
Just read the plants. If its too much youll get some burn then back off.
Well I can tell y’all 100% for sure in hydro,DWC,RDWC autos only get half strength in advance nutrients brand. That came directly from the advanced Nutrients grow support I was on the phone with them for hours getting problems with sludge fixed, was full strength and hydroguard that was causing the sludge buildup.
But different in soil/coco.

I use 50% of whatever the instructions say for my autoflowers. It typically comes up to about 8:50.
And I’m growing in soil. Also I use Advanced Nutrients from my indoor and right now I’m experimenting with CX Horticultural nutrients for my autoflowers outside and again at 50%
i used flora nova grow 1 tsp per gallon of PH balanced water. I did not see any burn or other unwanted effects.
