I hope so! I always feel so nervous making this type of stuff especially when itās for someone else. I get worried that I messed it up somehow and itās not gonna do anything. I hope it works for him, the butter is a lot healthier of an option than what his doctors have him on.

How do yall know what mg your going for? I need more control in that area 
. Weve made cookies that i couldnāt really feel anything, then cookies that 1/2 of one and i feel like a crayon in the microwave lol. No consistency!

I use a dosage calculator.
But for an example for the butter I made I had 56g of trim. You take 56 and multiply by 1000 to figure out the milligrams.
56x1000=56,000mg
Next you want the divide by thc %
For example letās say whatever you decarbed is 15%
.15 x 56,000= 8,400
For the base I used 2 cups butter and I want to know how many mg is in each skull.
8,400mg 
1 cup= 1,050
So each skull roughly contains 1,050mg
Letās say you want to take a half cup of it and make a batch of 2 dozen cookies. Half of 1,050 is 525.
525mg 24 cookies= 21.87mg per cookie
So obviously if you want higher or lower mg change the serving size.
525ā12 cookies = 43.75mg
525 30 cookies= 17.5mg
I usually just play around with the math until Iām happy with the mg per serving. Or sometimes I just make however many itās makes and then just do the math afterwards to figure out the mg.(thatās how I figured out the mg for the capsules since my scale couldnāt read the kief) I do want to state that 100% consistency in home will be a little tough to accomplish when you have to guesstimate thc %. And varies on the quality of the product. Thc percentage isnāt the same for top and bottom buds or if you just use kief or trim. You can pay for the testing. I personally donāt see the point in spending money on testing unless you are trying to sell a product. Using other concentrates like rso like Caligurls concentrate blog( I highly recommend checking it out) is a more accurate and an easier way to dial in dosing. I hope this helps/makes sense.

Youāre welcome! I usually look up the strain and see what the breeder has stated on the website and go with the lower percentage or go with an average percentage like I did with 15% since my trim was multiple strains.

Well sheās growing. Gonna need a new timer for watering. Ended up draining almost all 5 gallons of feed. It was a good thing I went down to check her out. Could have fried the pump. It was running for 20-30 minutes and wouldnāt switch off. Settings were correct. It just seems that I just have the worst luck with timers haha. The good thing is the auto drain actually kept up with it for the most part only had a little water at the bottom of the tent. Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday
