Hello. There are lots of growers out there so I’m hoping some of you are on day 28 of flower and are willing to take some up close pics of the trichomes for me and everyone else who wants to see. I’m a noob on my first grow and want to know what to expect, development wise, for trichomes on day 28 of flower. Of course I’ll find out eventually with my own flowers but posting pics will help me and others know what trichomes typically look like at that day of flower. Also, what week of flower do trichomes turn cloudy/milky? Are they already fully milky by day 28 and gradually turn more and more amber through days 29-60? Thanks in advance cannabis people

At day 28 of flower, trichomes won’t be ready. You likely have 4-6 more weeks as most plants take roughly 8-10 weeks of full flower (after 2ish week transition). 99% of plants at 28 days in flower will have clear trichs on the buds. Sugar leaves will have started getting cloudy, maybe, but those aren’t where you want to check.

Before you try to look at the trichs make sure you have a jewelers loupe with 30 and 60 x’s magnification. You will not see what you need to see with the naked eye.
