Are these those lovely mites I hear so much about?

I noticed this about a month ago, but I was so far into flower I didn’t want to spray anything.

I’m at day 87 and Ive flushed twice in the last month. I flushed this one again this weekend because it’s sharing a pot with a Kush plant that is rocking, should Ingo ahead and chop it? If so. I hear people talk about washing their plants with a solution of peroxide and water. What day ye gents?

Captain Jacks dead bug spray. Spray them down good, top to bottom and top/underside of the leafs. I believe it requires a couple of treatments. Avoid doing it under the sun so it doesnt burn them up. I just ordered some for thrips

This plant is ready to chop anyway, let’s say I choose to chop it, is there anything I need to do be before I hang it up?

Thanks!

outdoor grow can leave alot of undesirables on the bud. Hear alot of outdoor growers use the bud wash technique to remove bird poop, mildew/mold spores, bugs, or any pesticides that might have been used. The above that are tagged can help with the directions. I tried it once and believe I did it wrong bc my harvest was shot after I washed them. I think its 1 cup peroxide(not sure of strength) for every 5 gallons of water. You dunk the buds into the peroxide water mix, give them a light swirl around and then dunk them into a plain water bucket. Hang up to dry off a little before putting them away to hang dry

yeah @Konflict has sound advice there. I normally keep up with pests and diseases through the grow, and pray my bud comes out clean. But apparently, washing buds off is a good practice as it gets dust and pollen from other trees and plants off your sticky resin glands… sorta. Anyway, a bit of protien in yer smoke wont kill ya… snap… pop…!

I had some bud rot on my first grow and had to chop to save the rest. I washed in a baking soda and lemon juice solution and you would not believe all the crap that came off the plants. My wife swears by it, will not smoke anything else we have been given, says it is all harsh and bad tasting. I am sold.

So you’re saying your bride won’t smoke anything unless it’s been cleansed by an everlasting solution of Baking Soda and lemon juice? If so, what are the ratios?

Thanks!

Should wash all outdoor bud anyway, but specially when there’s bugs.

I agree, hit them with spinosad like captain jacks a few times.

Even though it’s ready to chop?

Lol no. I didn’t have enough juice, it was all I had. I credit part of it to my giving them lots of TLC, but I was sold after seeing all the crap off the plants

I think so. I certainly wouldn’t just rinse and hang them with all those bugs on there.

@Konflict has it. I just washed some because I had to use some spinosad. 1 cup 3% hydrogen peroxide in 5 gallons of water. I used a second 5 gallon bucket with a little lemon juice as the first rinse. Then, 3rd bucket with plain water.
After the wash I hung them over a tub to drip

Then hung them up to get rid of any excess water before going into the dry box

They are still drying and they look and feel great
