I am out of ILGM seeds and there is no shipping to Oz now due to problems with interception. So I am just down to ‘freebies’. They are indica and growth is strong but bud formation very slow. They are 11 weeks, will bud thicken, need patients? Took attached photos. Do see them as ‘hermies’ not balls in sight, flowering just slow. Advice please.
They look healthy nice looking plants are they a sativa
If you can’t get seeds you should take some clones and keep a mother around!
Presto - chango - no seeds needed!!
They don’t look like they’ve even really started flowering yet, just see pre-flowers. So yes buds will thicken considerably, patience.
From the pics im going to assume you mean 11 weeks sense they popped outa ground they barley look as if they just started flower maybe a week ago you still have easily 8 to 9 weeks to go buddy if this is a photoperiod seeds they won’t flip to flower until they have less that 14-12 hours of light thats why growers they grow inside flip there light schedules from 18/6(veg) to 12/12(for flower) if your growing outside then you have to wait for the plant to flip at the mercy of nature haha
Being in Australia your daylight hours are still increasing. Till the 21 Dec.
when your days start getting shorter they’ll start tightening up and forming buds.
That’s if they’re photo’s tho.
Autos have a mind of their own sometimes.

Yes my next task thank you.
Yes you are right,11 weeks since ‘hello’. Thank you for the tips, so very appreciated, they sure seem healthy. Not really interested in lighting, happy to let mother nature do her thing. But you have given me confidence. This morning they seem to be thickening. Would they be ok for cloning?
By the look of them they appear to be Indica, tall wispy, as far as I am aware sativa is smaller and thicker - am I right?
Thanks for your input.
I don’t know their ‘heritage’ were given to me and we got some off an early plant we had. Will just keep watching and see how they go. Thank you for your advice.
Sativa is your typical Xmas tree shape with longer thinner buds, where as indica is the shorter, bushier plant with the shorter fatter buds.
Hybrids obviously it depends on which strain is dominant in your particular phenotype.
Hybrids are a crap shoot sometimes.
Absolutely you can take cuttings for clones
Ive seen sativa tall like that most indica are smaller and bushy i guess it depends on the genetic makeup whether if it has more sativa traits or more indica dominant
Thank you.
Just when I thought I was getting to understand them - back to confusion. Thanks again.
Hey dont discouraged by the new information ive only been doin this for a few months and ive learnt much and im still learning now .what u can do look up on the internet about the strain of plant u have and read up about it you find out if its sativa dominant or indica dominant the information u will see will give u all u need to know about ur plant
Don’t despair!! You’ll get the hang of it. Not everybody has tons of time, and it takes time to learn.
And even if you have set backs in the journey you’ll probably learn something that’ll help the next!
If a plant is living it’s OK.
Sometimes they need a little help to be GREAT!!
Give yourself some time!
Thank you, have learned a lot since starting nearly 12 mths ago, it is a lot more difficult than I expected, but enjoying the experience.
Its abit hard at the start i will say that but keep up with it dont give up if theres anything you need to ask there is plenty of people on here that will help you
Thank you for the words of encouragement, getting there slowly.
