I got 4 sweets devils cream autos I want to get going and I won’t pop these till I know whats up first or there my next summer outdoor project. I got 3 northern light/cheese cross autos that I want to get down first
I’ve tried to get 3 of the nl/cheese going two got stuck trying to come out of the root things I start in and when I tried to save them I killed them one started and I put it outdoors and a deer ate it
Thanks. So that was running the two 1000 watt hps lights in 11x11 room? How much space would you say actually taken up by plant canopy? A 1000 watt hps light is usually good for up to about 20 square feet.
Yes the first three under two and the last under one. The first grow was like 9x5 a canopy

I’ve grown tons of great weed under a 1000 watt HPS as countless others have, it’s not the light causing your small yields and replacing it with an LED light is not going to fix that. Really need to look at your growing skills, methods, soil, nutes, water, ventilation, etc…
Two fixtures should have done alright there.
Outside of bad bulbs (maybe not bad but old?), and maybe lack of reflection, shouldn’t have been too bad there. I think the experienced hps growers with setups dialed in get well over a pound per light there, maybe 2.
If you’re way off from that, I guess depends on what kind of money you want to throw at to fix. Cheap led fixtures from Amazon aren’t going to make you any happier. You could try new bulbs and making sure your canopy is wrapped in reflective material maybe. But i agree, without something wrong probably not lights.
Well I wouldn’t say I’m the best but skills don’t think that’s an issue as I’ve produced pounds of great outdoor that most would thinks indoor if weather was predictable id be fine I use all organic nutes out of north cal thats very reputable there I use ocean forest and happy frog mixed rain water thats at 7ph constantly. I could go on. ima try out a tent i think and see where it goes from there thanks for the advice
I’ve never bought new bulbs and they were used when I got them. I’ll try out some new ones and a tent and see where it goes
Could be part of the issue, when I used HPS lights, I replaced the bulbs yearly if not every 6 months, even with the spendy eyehortilux bulbs. HPS bulbs go downhill fast.
So replace the bulb from there how would you setup with one light?
What size tent?
How many fans would you run?
Is a carbon filter a must if smells not an issue?
Hydro or soil?
What nute line?
How many plants?
Anything else I missing?

I agree, the heating and cooling cycles on the bulbs kills output pretty quickly. Most of the people im close with will change out flowering bulbs every run or two.
I don’t believe you need a tent, the tent could potentially bring issues with maintaining environment. I would maybe move to a corner and wrap space with something like panda film. Or paint nearest walls white and figure out something for reflective curtain on sides without walls. Will probably be cheaper than a tent and help quite a bit.
