Autoflower harvest time? I have 3 Sour Diesel autoflower plants and they are significantly smaller than what I’ve grown before. They are full of small buds and are at about 12 weeks from seedling. Are they ready? Pics attached.

Time from seed is irrelevant. How many weeks in flower?

I’m not sure, actually. I would guess around 2-3 weeks. 1 plant is smaller and flowered later. The other 2 maybe 3 weeks?

I recently tried autos for the first time.Mine were in vegg for 6 weeks coming up on 8 week in flower…I’m within a week on harvest…I think you have a little ways to go…I got a cheap notebook and keep notes on everything I do…So I don’t get elevated and forget…Welcome to the forum …

Thank you for the detail and the welcome! I’ve never grown autoflower before, so wasn’t paying close attention, because I was used to flowering happening later. I was shocked when I noticed how many buds and the beginning of color. These are small plants—way smaller than I’ve grown before—will the buds still get larger?

I just looked back at your pics. They are further along than 2 to 3 weeks. They look to be more along the lines of 5 to 6 weeks.
The best you will be able to do is monitor trichome maturity and then harvest when they are to your taste.
Be sure to keep track of the date flowering starts on grows going forward.

Thank you. I thought maybe they were further along, too. Not doing autoflower before, it really crept up on me and I didn’t notice. I will note flowering date from now on. I will be diligent about trichome monitoring starting now!
