Aqua Globes in a pinch?

Going out of town for a week.

Anyone use something like this to keep the plant watered?

I know it is not perfect, but I just need something to get through the week.

Thoughts?

Try these sometime. I give these as a gag but they actually work. Happy growing, Growmie and safe travels.

AC Infinity self-watering bases work also Growmie :facepunch:.

I used them last year when I went on vacation for 5 days and they was able to sustain 5 gallon pots. The only catch is they only work with fabric pots

A wine bottle will work well. You cut the corkdown so it’s only a half inch long. Take a nail, poke a hole, so it’s a small drip inverted. Also 1 L and 2 L bottles work well. Keep the lid. In the lid poke a small hole. Then invert it into the pot.

Thanks everyone!

Any idea how much volume of water would be needed for 7 days in a 5 gallon fabric pot?

IMO the AC Infinity bases that @DoneDeal mentioned are going to be ur best bet for a longer time away. I used them back when I grew in soil and traveled for work more frequently. If I recall, they hold 1.5-2 gallons. I would recommend a good feeding before you leave and then fill the bases with just plain water that’s ph’d to 6.5. Ur ladies will SIP while ur gone and you’ll have way less to worry about.
…and, if ur like me and have to have constant contact, install a wifi cam to keep an eye on things. Having a plant sitter tho, is always best :hugs:

Stay lifted Growmie!
